I like trains.

I also travel by train a lot.

A while ago I started taking pictures of trains regularly. Some of these pictures are pretty, but to be honest, most of them are unremarkable and a lot of them suck.

They're out of focus or motion blurry. They're badly lit due to bad weather or hard shadows. They're either too far away or too close so they don't fit into the frame. Or there's just too much going on in the foreground.

In short, if you want to become a Good Photographer TM, don't do it like this.

In other words, I'm trying to have fun here by deliberately choosing the worst of all the train photos I've ever made.

I'm back from holiday
