That’s what the wiki calls him!

That’s what the fandom calls him!

Back when Void bonus 1 had just come out, I asked Rem some story stuff I was curious about.

I’m not on that server anymore for a number of reasons but that’s not important. What matters is that HIS NAME IS NOT CLYDE!!

She said she’d announce it in the Evadare “movie” she was working on (Idk if it was gonna be a legit short film or just the amalgamation of all the bonuses?)

Nevertheless, at the end of Void’s 3rd bonus, his name was finally revealed:

Rayan.

His name is Rayan.

So my question is,

Where the fuck did “Clyde” come from?

Rem specifically said that wasn’t his name, so it couldn’t have come from her. I couldn’t find any record of anyone announcing it as a headcanon before his name was revealed. And frankly, Rayan as a character is usually straight-up forgotten. Hell, he doesn’t even have a sound.

So if anyone has any idea of the origin of “Clyde” for Rayan’s name, please tell me. I need to know.

I absolutely love this idiotic religious fanatic with his own story and a sister who wants him (PLEASE THIS IS NOT AN ANDY AND LEILEI REFERENCE.)

His story is quite messed up and idiotic, on the other hand, it has so much meaning that is only important to me, and he also hates other people so much for their sins(And perhaps if he hadn't been a child with demonic roots and a broken psyche, he would have been able to simply work as a priest, without slitting people's throats and engaging in cannibalism. But now I think you understand how it fits into POSTAL and metalocalypse au.)

It's funny that in the end he and his sister Rosemary(by the way, he has a cross on his rosary, this is also an important point, because Rosemary and the rosary are consonant) are also the children of some manager, which is also a big trigger for him, he just hates Charles 😭 (I love them both so much)
