Absolutely gutted! Sweden was the best team, playing fantastic and here in the final they dominated Canada in the first half and should have been a little more clinical in the box. Canada was better in the second, and in the extra time Sweden were the better team again.

To lose a gold on penalties is harsh. Seger probably played her last big tournament. She really deserved to have a golden ending!

I don't think tournament finals should be decided by penalties. Make them play until someone scores in the run of play. After extra time go golden goal until someone scores. It just doesn't sit right to win or lose an entire tournament on penalties.
