Is police hetswap interesting in any way to you and if so what genderbend dynamic would you explore in the trio I'm curious
OOOH I've never really thought about a mixed genderbend situation! here are some of my initial thoughts and then I'd LOVE to hear yours!
-girl andy. I think Andy’s "i will join but I have to be the only guitarist" thing is so interesting because he's a very mellow and confident (like not showboating) kind of player, but he has to be the ONLY one. because it's the control freak band. so for them to cave and say yeah we'll have a girl on guitar and not just as a gimmick would be neat
-girl stewart. well stewart is such a character that I really think even as a woman at that time she'd have been forging her own path. I think she might push the solo career thing even more honestly, because she'd have that added sense of needing to stand out in order to get respect. she'd be a bit of a cherry vanilla type I suppose. waiiit and the boys could still back her :0
-girl sting would have been a jazz club singer forever unfortunately (I would say fortunately but we'd have no recordings of it so like. bad ending) because there's no wife and baby driving her to make it big in london. lol. spinster too probably... though I could see her cohabitating with one of her actress friends for life. also I think boy stewart couldn't have pulled her away but girl stewart could.
-girl stewart & sting. well this is just an excuse for them to fawn over their pet boy guitarist. i really can't see the band breaking up in this situation either. hmmm... well it's not too late!
