Hiya there! I’m The Driller! I’m also known as Drill, Noe, and other.. crude names by opposing teams id rather not say. I found this small tv-like device somewhere in the dustbowl base, and I figured I should make use of it; considering it’s in my possession now. Only my friends, Chem and Pilot, know about it. Hopefully Engi won’t find out and try to tinker with the device. Who knows what he might do to it.

Well then, enough chattering! You wonderful bystanders must be wondering who my friends and I are. Without revealing too much—

Meet The 3 Amigos!

MEET THE DRILLER!

SUPPORT CLASS

The Driller specializes in… digging. Well that’s certainly something. Instead of treading on ground, they tread below it. Quite smart, right? Not exactly the combat type, Driller digs tunnels underground for herself and other mercenaries to avoid any expecting enemies and ambush them under their feet. Of course when it comes to combat she can rely on her Lee-Enfield rifle.

Other than her job, Driller loves writing and drawing, as well as collecting any kinds of minerals she finds while digging. She is particularly a fan of animals(except insects), especially for dogs. Oh, and she’s absolutely BritishAmerican guys, she swears! Let’s just hope Soldier believes she’s American enough..

MEET THE CHEMIST!

DEFENSE CLASS

The Chemist is a mercenary that specializes in any kind of chemicals and any properties of matter. Don’t leave Chem alone with Medic, unless you want a biohazard growing in the infirmary. Unlike the Medic, Chemist isn’t sadistic with their occupation. Just—very enthusiastic!

If she isn’t doing chemistry as her main hobby, Chemist enjoys sketching with Driller time to time, listening to the radio with Pilot, and collecting biotic factors while taking walks outside. She also loves a good conversation with the other mercenaries! Go on, spill any tea you have. 😉

MEET THE PILOT!

OFFENSE CLASS

Move along Soldier! The pilot takes air superiority in the sky now! If you’re already cautious of anyone who may be behind you, you better watch out above you too! The Pilot special skills are quite obvious, but they are the ruler of air superiority! They fly quite fast too thanks to their jet pack.

Being great buddies with Demo Man, Pilot is quite skilled in bombs himself, but someone should tell him having a bomb taped to a stick isn’t exactly the wisest choice. But when off work, Pilot loves listening to radio tunes and soaring through the air. As a nerd himself, he’s commonly tinkering with some kind of device in some corner of a room. But he doesn’t mind chatting with his two closest buddies too to kill time! Don’t let Scout borrow his jet pack.

(Note: The Pilot and Chemist are based on my friends, so any info about them is loosely based on facts.)

(This Blog is a semi-rp blog; meaning I will sometimes roleplay as the characters in this blog while also posting content like a regular tumblr user. This is my second blog that is dedicated to tf2 content, I will not mention my main blog on here. However mutuals from my main blog may see this second blog.

I am fine with shipping Driller and Chemist with other ocs or canon!!! However I am not comfortable with shipping Pilot with anyone!

I’m somewhat new to the tf2 community so I apologize if there’s any incorrect information I may post regarding the game, characters, and lore. Thank you.)

Still Alive!

|| Hey Mod here! Oops I have not been updating for a LONG while and honestly, I apologize. Burnt out has done me bad and I’ve been busy with personal stuff. But not to worry, I’m still here and lurking 👀. I’ll still interact with tf2 rp blogs, although I’m so nervous about doing that for some reason (Curse You Social Anxiety!)

If I still wanna push out posts and dont have the materials to draw, I’ll just do simple text blogs using rp dividers with each Tresleches. So if you wanna send in a rp prompt in the inbox, feel free to do so!

In other words I may be busy the following months for personal reasons but again I’ll still be active. And I did mention this is a semi rp blog so if I ever feel like drawing the Mercs or tf2 characters I’ll post them on here too. Pretend Driller drew them or something.

Anyways that’s enough of me yapping. Again, sorry for the absence. Hopefully I will post more before life gets busy!

Meet The Dispatcher

(So my other friend is into tf2 and I decided to add her to the tres leches. Art by @brrtchu)

While you can’t really find her, you can usually hear her on your radio! The Dispatcher is a valuable member of Mann Co, alongside Miss Pauling, who helps run communications between the teammates smoothly; mission information, messages from the Administration, etc.

Unlike Pauling, Dispatch prefers not to get her hands dirty. She handles the side tasks while Pauling carries the heavy work.

Dispatch communicates more with the mercenaries and has a deeper personal connection with each member, except Spy.

She’s invested in each member but will hold a long term grudge when she’s irritated by them(via purposely being incompetent, or not following orders from administration). When Saoirse is agitated she’ll intentionally make the mercs struggle by not giving tips, and say some light-hearted offhand comments.

the Dispatcher is also world traveler and can be anywhere at anytime. She brings around a portable computer with her when she can. Despite being all over the globe, she has wonderful reception to communicate with her colleagues. In fact, her favorite spots are the beaches of Hawaii and the Himalayas.

Hey Ben! It’s been a while, but how ya doin?

So uh.. it’s been a while since Scout accidentally hit me with his baseball, and my goggles are still broken. I’ve been meaning to ask Engie but he’s been real busy, and I don’t wanna stress the guy.

If.. you’re not busy.. can you help me repair my glasses? I don’t like going around base without them much. And I miss seeing in the dark.

"Oh hey driller! I've been alright, how about you?"

He gives a warm smile before inspecting the goggles and grimacing.

"It.. it might take some time but I don't think it should be too hard to fix."

"Is this dried blood...?"

He starts getting some tools ready before thinking over something and looking back at Driller.

"If it's just goggles you need to wear then you can borrow mine until I'm done."

The brunette takes off the goggles on his head, hair proofing slightly as he does so and gently hands them to the other.

"Just be careful please, it's the pair my parents gave me."

Driller carefully took the goggles and examined them. Her thumb traced over the material. “These were your parents?” Driller repeats, looking back up to Ben. She shook her head and gave them back to Ben. “No, no I can’t accept these. If they belong to your folks, I doubt they’d want me wearing them.”

Practically grabbing Ben’s hands, Driller placed the goggles in his palms and forced his fingers to close in on them. “I’ll be fine. A little dirt in my eyes and no light won’t kill me for..” she looked up, thinking for a bit. “For 2 weeks, I think.”

Ben chuckled slightly and gently placed them on her head and over her eyes with a kind smile.

"They aren't my parents goggles, I meant they gave them so me as a present after I got this beauty."

He moves back his bangs to reveal the scar on his left eyebrow with a grin.

"So they hold a special place in my heart."

He finished with a warm smile and slightly backed away once the goggles were on properly. Even though they were tinted orange if was easy to see around.

"I trust you'll be careful with them. It's better than getting dust in your eyes, right?"

Driller looked around in Ben’s goggles, letting her vision adjust through the orange tinted glass. “Awe Ben, you’re really sweet sometimes. I kinda feel bad that I’m borrowing your goggles.”

Lifting the goggles above her eyebrows, Driller looked to Ben worriedly. “But you might get more scars if you don’t have your goggles. Surely you need these goggles more than me.”

|| This is my first time drawing a robot mercenary so sorry if the robot looks weird. I don’t draw robots often But yaaay another ask done! Sniper is few of my favorite characters I like in tf2 so it was really fun drawing a variant of him!

|| Mod: I AM BACK EVERYONE. And I am back to answering asks! Driller is still unfortunately has a broken nose but hopefully for the next few asks it will be healed! Or not, unless Medic comes by to heal Driller—but I doubt driller will let that happen. I wanna try posting an open rp post soon but idk kinda new to that on tumblr but only think about it later.

I didn’t really go into detail of what Chemist and Pilot like cause I’m pretty lazy to draw that. Also because Chem and Pilot are based on my friends, asks for them will be a bit slower considering I usually ask them the questions myself to get an authentic answer :P

Anyways other than uranium sticks, Pilot like banana bread and cola(like a lot) and Chem loves chocolate.

Class Highlight: Transportation

This week, the Teufort Census Bureau would like to highlight the skill of the various transportation workers employed by TF Industries. Whether it be transporting teammates or providing support by air or by ground, transportation jobs are immensely valuable to the proper functioning of TF Industries and it's mercenaries.

The Bureau can recommend the work ethic and expertise of the following mercenaries, in no particular order.

I saw a few rp-blogs use this template to introduce their characters so I decided to give it a try, it was fun!

(I took Inspo from meet-red-pilot so yeah 👍 I made this post scheduled so at least something posted while I’m gone for a bit)

Driller :

- Driller is Southeast Asian

- They speak canine, or dog ig. How? They were a dog attendant back in Britain when they were younger before running off to America, where they worked with dogs again.

- Driller identifies as a Demigirl, although they grew up traditionally female, they aren’t very connected to the feminine identity. But they don’t know nor understand lgbtq terms 😞

- Their guardian, Jean Hathaway, is a funny thing I decided to do cause Shakespeare’s wife was named Ann Hathaway. But Jean Hathaway is not part of the Shakespearecles bloodline they just happen to have that last name.

Chemist:

(Guys ignore that I spelled Oregon wrong)

- Lead poisoned at a young age. Not as extreme as soldier though

- licked banana slugs when they were younger

- liked making “potions” out of household cleaning products. This was very fun when they were a toddler

- canonically has a degree and is educated out of the three. Graduated somewhere in Oregon.

Pilot:

Pilot didn’t want to take off his sunglasses.

- Pilot’s parents previously worked for Mann Co as astronauts and were in space when Pilot was born.

- Got hired by Mann Co cause he’s a nepo baby, similar to Engineer

- You can imagine what “attempted murder” means.

(The Tres-Leches’ ages range from early to late 30s.)
