Introducing The Newest Evans' || Fabrevans
Picking up the last bag that Quinn had in the hallway, the excitement started to kick in. She and Sam were going back to Texas with Lucas and Lily, to show them off to Sam's parents for the first time. The blonde hadn't seen the Evans' family since she moved away to New Jersey, and she was really looking forward to seeing them again, especially since it was the babies first time visiting their grandparents. She double checked that the diapers and bottles were all in there, as well as some drinks and snacks for her and Sam on the way. She wanted to make sure that they were all ready for the journey. Normally they would fly, but with the babies being so young, Quinn wanted her to be able to keep a proper eye on them, and so had managed to convince Sam to drive down there. Not that Sam would be doing much driving, what with his arm still in the sling. Although the doctor had said he could start using it without the sling, but she knew that she'd have to drive some of the way.
After making sure that the apartment was all locked up, Quinn made her way out to the car, putting the last bag on the floor by the passenger seat. "Sam? Are you all ready to go?" She asked with a smile, knowing that he was just as excited as she was to go back down to Texas for a few days to spend some time with the family. "I know it's early in the morning but it's a long drive and I want to get as far as we can before the twins wake up." She said with a smile, moving to where Sam was standing, and placing a light kiss on his cheek. She loved it when Sam was back from the army, and having the twins with them, made her feel like her family was complete. She had no idea how she was going to cope with the twins when Sam had to go back out to Spain, but she knew that she would manage...eventually. She could always get some help if she needed to. "Come on, let's get going, we don't want to hit the traffic. And I've left a thermos full of coffee in the cup holder to wake you up." She laughed softly, before heading towards the open car door to start their journey.
