scout becoming a paraplegic, struggling with the loss of his identity, hes still fast in his chair, but he no longer feels like himself

engineer slowly easing into the blindness spectrum further and further until he cant do the one thing thats distracted him his whole life

medic getting a viral sickness and "pushing through" just to end up with me/cfs, pots, etc and have to give up his schedules, medical (mal)practice, and all of the things that he felt made him valuable

sniper with mcas, not being able to deal with anxiety without fear of a reaction, being unable to consume his favorite foods or do his favorite activities outside

theres so many and im so excited to write about them

TF2 Oh Brother Where Art Thou (2000) AU

Spy, as Everett McGill, learns that while he's been incarcerated, his lovely wife is moving on to marry a new man. also btw everett in the movie has 7 daughters, so obvs 7 sons for jeremy and bros. So he convinces two other prisoners, Soldier as Delmar and Sniper as Pete, to help him break out by lying to them and saying he has buried treasure that he will share with them.

So Spy, Soldier, and Sniper are trying to make their way to where the "treasure" is (Scout's Ma's home), while Spy has to keep lying to them, while being persued by the vengeful lawman/sheriff who will be the Administrator

They encounter various people, such as the bank robber George Nelson played by Pyro, thief Big Dan (Heavy except I'm cutting Heavy/Big Dan out of the KKK scene its my AU I do what I want) and Demo as Tommy, who they perform a song with at a radio company with for money. The song they perform eventually grows to such popularity that in order to win the election for governor, Engineer grants all three criminals a pardon and Spy is able to get back with Scout's Ma and Soldier and Sniper gain their freedom and are able to make money with Demo through their popular song.

Notes: Soldier WOULD believe that Sniper has been turned into a toad. Pete's role is to challenge Everett, hence Sniper is chosen to challenge Spy. I almost considered making Big Dan Merasmus but clearly Merasmus is the prophet. Again, I'm taking Heavy out of the equation for the scene where they save Demo from the KKK.
