ABOUT TF3 NOVICE TRAINING FACILITY
TF3 takes place starting in September 1992, with all of the kids having been born between 1975 and 1984.
Mainly Taking Place beside Flagstaff, Arizona, In The fictional Town of Fortress Falls, Arizona, Team Fortress 3: Novice Training Facility follows our original 9 Mercenaries of TF2, a few new staff members, The new Administrator Miss Pauling, and the 14 children to the Mercs, each being trained as Novice mercenaries for various classes.
Why are these children needed, you ask?
In winter 1990, a mob organization, simply known as Blu-Tech, using a hardware manufacturing company as their front, began their reign of terror and control across multiple states, using any means necessary to move guns, money, and who knows what else, trying to get their hands on Australium, a metal element which can adapt and transform itself into different states and forms, therefore making it extremely valuable and sought-after.
Australium was discovered in its namesake country, Australia. Further research into it, revealed that when melted down into a liquid, and placed into a “Life-Extender machine”, it has lifespan-extending qualities, which drive this greedy power-hungry organization to seek it out, so their mysterious, and unknown mob head can sustain his own life as he chases goals of infinite power and riches. They stop at nothing to achieve this, no matter who gets hurt or damaged in the wake. After they start using explosives in their attacks on other organizations and civilians in their pursuit of the metal, The RED Organization is formed, from what was formerly known until the 1970s as Reliable Excavation & Demolition (R.E.D.), recruited and funded under the government, aims to take them down, and stop their reign of tyranny before anything more serious happens.
It's main operations are handled from its home base facility and barracks in the town of Fortress Falls, Arizona.
It's disguised to appear like a summer camp on the outside.
Along with the original Mercenaries, their children, and Miss Pauling, there is a small team of extra staff, including a second on-site medic, being a nurse with slightly more qualifications, two janitors (one for the regular janitor stuff and one specializing with crime scenes and bodily fluids to clean up any bodies or blood.) , likely some kind of Psychiatrist, and various other staff.
