As I am sure you are all aware, there was an incident yesterday that has left many of you in shock. Trust me when I say that I am no less shocked, but I am not worried. If anyone has any information in regards to the arsonist behind yesterday, or the hacker that's been fiddling with the school's social network, there will be a reward for any information that helps lead to the apprehension of whoever is responsible. And they will be apprehended. In the meantime, security has doubled. This is a school, not a remake of Les Miserables, there will be no more of this.

Why are you still going to class when you're claimed by a member of the academy's staff? Does your Dominant force you to go or is it something you do willingly?

I might not be a morning person and I know I bitch about having to go to class in the morning, but I’m aware of the benefits of continuing my education while I have the chance to. I also might not show it very often but I actually learn quite a bit from my classes.

Not to mention I’d be pretty much on my own since my peers would be in class and James works during the day.

So, I guess I go willingly? It’s not exactly a topic that’s ever come up between us. I mean, he claimed me last summer and I continued going to class come fall without him forcing me. At least more than he did prior to claiming me and I was staying with him.

I find it strange that there is such curiosity in the reasoning behind someone still being enrolled in school when they have yet to graduate. Just because he's claimed, and just because he's claimed by a member of the faculty, doesn't mean he is no longer a regular person with the obligations of a student just the same as the rest of you. And attendance through to graduation is one of those obligations.

To say I was embarrassed would be an understatement, Sir. I apologise for letting them delay me. I just want to be a good Dominant, and I know I’m not at that level yet, but I intend to be. I intend to graduate at the top of my class. But I know I can’t do that if I’ve disappointed myself in your eyes.

I think that the first lesson that you need to learn is to dominate for yourself. While my opinion should matter, it shouldn't make you feel as though you can't reach your goals. Opinions change when they're given reason to. The opinions of your peers, while also valuable, matter even less than mine in the grand scheme of things. What you're doing, the path you're taking, is for you. It's yours. You don't always come across as comfortable, which makes your confidence squirm, and I believe that is because you aren't always acting for your dominance. How exactly you decide to carry yourself is your own business, there are plenty of successful paths to superiority.

It's expected that you haven't quite figured yourself out yet. This is a school, after all. It's an institution of learning, not an institution of know-it-alls. Take the humility that is that truth while walking your path for your comfort, your needs, and don't let your pride suffer- because everyone else is here to learn as well.

It is that time of year; the first round of exams for this school year is upon us. As always, I have paired all of you up and I am posting that list in order to allow you time to prepare. I advise you all to meet with your partner(s) at least a few times in the week from now until the exam day to ensure that you’re both on the same page and fully prepared and committed to performing in front of me to earn your grade. Note that the Dominants are responsible for crafting this experience and may do so however they please, which includes whether they decide to prepare, how they decide to prepare their submissive(s), whether or not they divulge their plans beforehand, and what the content and the rules for the exam itself will be.

The way that exams work is simple. On June 10th, all of you will congregate in the exam hall (located in the administration building) and wait for me to call your group into a room. This room will be big enough to accommodate almost any scenario, so don’t worry about space. Your group’s exam starts the moment your names come from my lips, keep that in mind. Once inside the room, the doors will close and you will be given the floor. What I am looking for is a display that proves that you all fully comprehend your roles in society. The Dominant should have control of the situation from start to finish, and is responsible for leading. The submissive should be in capitulation to the Dominant they are paired with, and should obey without hesitation. This can be sexual, but it does not have to be. Note that sex is not dominance on its own.

Anyone with any questions is advised to speak with their partner(s), or with someone that they trust, but I am also open to communication on the subject. Treat this like any class assignment, but remember that more hinges on this grade than anything that you do in class. Those that do not pass exams will not graduate and cannot leave the academy until they do and risk losing their right to distract themselves with clubs. Those that perform well may earn extra privileges, but your group has to actually impress me, not just pass, in order to get these extra privileges.

PM: Sir, I was wondering if a submissive has a genuine health concern how we could get it treated. I would imagine I could take him to the infirmary to have him checked out, but would he be able to take medication or anything like that? I would be willing to back for him and allow him to have it - or even keep it on my person so he doesn't do anything risky. That is, if the submissive in question actually has the ailment- which, sadly, I think he does.

PM: If you mean a physical health concern, then you would take them to the infirmary, yes. The head nurse will see that he is tested, and if he does suffer from an ailment, proper treatment will be decided by the head nurse and provided by the school. If medication is required, he will be given his pills one dosage at a time, with his meals in the McKinley cafeteria.

There are lines that would anger me if they were crossed, but I wouldn't call myself a jealous person or say that I get jealous at all-- let alone easily. Jealousy is a childish emotion, formed in the basis of envy and unfulfilled desire. There is no part of my life that would foster such a thing. I have everything that I want and need, I have no reason to envy others.

Fine. You’re right. I absolutely was, Sir. I’ll own up to it. I was absolutely shitting on these facts due to past experiences. I will say, however, I don’t want to be tied to Jasmine because I don’t frankly give a fuck about what she’s doing so you can back off with that bullsh-- So please don’t mesh us together. Every Dominant in this school is entitled to whatever claim they want, I’ll back off with my ill mannered and wrong opinion.

I will say this once more before I have to start questioning whether or not you have deficiencies that need to be tended to, because this has to be absolutely crystal clear for you to learn anything at all from this: your opinion is not what is on trial here. What you did wrong was speak for the opinions and feelings of Dominants. You disrespected the claims here by invalidating them, by insulting them and their worth. There is a difference between opinion and fact. You can have a respectful opinion (i.e. your desire to keep love out of your claim) but you cannot speak as though you write the facts for Dominants (i.e. saying that all Dominants here don't care for their claims). You spoke for how all Dominants in this school feel about their claims, and as far as we both know, you spoke incorrectly about all of them. Not all Dominants here want to have a loving claim, I can name quite a few that have spoken against it in fact, but the ones that do will never want to hear you invalidating them. And they shouldn't have to, it's not in your right to say how a Dominant feels. 

I brought her up because she encouraged you, and you should know that it wasn't a moment you should have been encouraged. If I hadn't brought it up, you might have seen her words as validation for whatever malformed thoughts you're already working on without her help. You don't need any help finding the wrong conclusions or failing to learn and mature.

The lesson should be more than clear by now. You're dismissed. I have something else to tend to.

He’s certainly succeeded in confusing me, Master.  The only conclusion I continue to arrive at is, as you said, he wants to be a victim…which further contradicts his assertion that his wants don’t matter.  Clearly, we’re all supposed to care.

I can’t speak on behalf of the Dominant population in this scenario, but I do know the capacity my own mark has.  Conrad’s hopes for a loving Claim doesn’t harm anyone…nor does it affect anyone else’s shot at a Claim.  I just…don’t understand it.

I think there was certainly a time when I sought out pity–consciously and not–and it never wrought me anything good.  I’ve since let that part of my personality go…and I’ve never felt better in so long.  Now, when I tell my story of my journey from auctions to here, isn’t a means to gain pity.  It’s a learning tool. 

Self-preservation is the cardinal rule in this Academy…and by extension in life…unless someone actually wants to be put up on the blocks…which sometimes I’ve wondered if Maxim actually does.

No negative feelings at all, Master.  Lingering confusion, maybe…but no negativity.  I want to feel you…I need it…the absolute clarity that pain can provide.  My body is yours.

In my experience, Maxim will do and say anything and everything in order to cause trouble and then purposefully try to not learn the right lesson. Even now, when I told him why he was wrong in lengthy paragraphs, he still made sure to end his last reply with words that make it look like he didn't have enough brain cells to comprehend what I was telling him. Even now, when it was made clear that what he did wrong was speak for Dominants, he is trying to say that the lesson is that he just shouldn't speak his opinion- as if he is on trial for how he feels instead of the manipulative bullshit that he said.

Confusing you means that now you feel like you've done him wrong, which is exactly what he wants. The fact that he started drama, and I refreshed our memory on his exact words which should clear your mind up a bit, isn't at the front of your mind. What is on the front of your mind is "Maxim was wronged." Successful manipulation. He spoke out in a childish and toxic way because he's bitter and now you feel like he has been wronged. Unfortunately, this is a behavior we'll have to deal with since he lives here. Learn to recognize it.

He doesn't want to be sent to the markets. What he wants is for everyone to pity him and give him attention. He isn't mature enough to even think that far. The "point" of his words don't even matter. It's all a hollow manipulation tool to reach his goal; to be pitied and to get attention for it. And he's a narcissist, so even if nobody else pities him, he can pity himself and that's the most important opinion of all. Being able to pity himself is the biggest pay out.

You're a good girl, my pretty girl. I'll trust your words. Strip for me, I'll ease your mind by testing you physically while toying with the implements you were kind enough to lay out for us.

What you have turned this into is an "everyone is erasing Max" moment. You're also trying for the "everyone is attacking Max" idea. Neither are correct in the slightest, and anyone that has fed into that is wrong and has done nothing but perpetuate your delusion. Nobody is telling you that you can't think whatever you want to think. Nobody is telling you that there aren't other options. The only person erasing anything here is you, and what you were trying to erase was your fellow submissive's right to form his own opinion and the legitimacy of every claim in this academy. 

The reason that I stepped in is because I will not stand for anyone speaking for me, ever. You spoke for me. You do not get to even sarcastically or playfully -or whatever excuse you are bound to pull out of your ass now that I've called you out on your nonsense- make statements about Dominants in that way. You can't dance around this situation with me, which is the only thing you're doing with anyone else. Even yourself, it seems. You were being antagonistic. You were lowering a peer's morale. You were being mean-spirited. But most importantly, you were letting your bitter, childish mind warp your words to turn all Dominants into accessories to your absolutely pathetic pity party. You and that Dominant that is always bending over backwards to accept your poor behavior are the only ones in the wrong here tonight. Whether you are smart enough to lower your immaturity long enough to realize that or not is ultimately your choice, but I will never allow you to get away with being insulting to your superiors. We already went over this- you had a cock in your mouth for the majority of that conversation, but I left your ears open so they should have been listening.  

And now to top it all off, instead of being a good boy and listening to me as I teach you the error of your actions, you're trying to manipulate me until I can no longer see your error and I do not appreciate that at all. In fact, it's right up there with flat out saying that I have no connection to my claim aside from him being property- which is what you said about every Dominant in a claim here at The Academy.
