i don't really write about myself here but this weekend was so cool i NEED to scream about it everywhere!! my friends and i've made an expedition 33 interactive fan zone at a local festival AND HAVE WON AN AWARD FOR CREATIVE APPROACH!!
the lineart of the Tower on the wall was drawn by yours truly 💅💅💅 1x1.2 meters btw. aline's mental state by the end of it was very relatable
then we gave visitors small cards to color, and i think Lumiere got plenty of its chroma back!
and although i have a really bad case of stage fright, our team gave an amazing performance and i just want to show them off 🥰 go and tell them how cool they are!!

anyway,, this chapter's opening a series of flashbacks of how Rose's adopton came to be, so a little more Mia is on the way hehe (hope you like canon compliant angst!!)
heeyooo update on my chrisker series!! stuff is being cooked! the next chapter will release in 2 or 3 weeks if nothing else goes wrong. it'll be more Rose-centric 'cause i miss my girl and you should too!
as to what went wrong behind the scenes,,
OH MY FUCKING GOD what a month. or two. i don't wanna check.
first, i've wanted to do a little spin off series with cut scenes from the main comic for a while now. like, cool dialoges that didn't make it to final script or extra bits and pieces. and so, i set down, started the first 'chapter' and suddenly remembered why i'd cut it! because i'm repeating myself! because i've drawn it and said it in anothen context! but two cakes are better then one. but! but!!
and so i spent an UNGODLY amount of time in this paralysis, and by the point when i decided to drop it till better times, all my other deadlines came to me burning and screaming. and so i needed to rush those! and i didn't like it!
(also, no i didn't delete the unfinished stuff. i'll return to it later and probably won't have any idea why i had such a temper tantrum over it. but not now. i don't wanna look at it now)
and do you think it's over?? HELL NAH because after all this, there was a fucking CONSTRUCTION WORK right outside my window. and by 'right outside' i mean they could literally see the screen in my room. they were LITERALLY OUTSIDE MY WINDOW FOR A WEEK. needless to say, couldn't really draw silly gay comic with that noise and extra eyes.
and, just for good measure, i've played In Stars and Time. absolutely incredible game, would recommend it to anyone who loves time-fuckery and slow descent into madness, but it's also SO GOOD that i needed to write an 20k-fic, like, immedeately after finishing. it's out, though it's in Russian and i honestly don't expect anyone in my audience to know this game. but. that's another reason why it takes this long to draw a chapter.
also if you know isat i think you could've guessed i've played it recently just by looking at rose lol
ANYWAY. IT'S ALL OVER NOW. i'm working, stuff's looking cool, thank you for your patience, god knows how anxious i feel everytime someone's binging my comics when i haven't updated it yet. also thank you for reading this rant lmao
Just wanted to say that your chrisker comic and art gives me life. Makes me feel inspired to actually write the chrisker fanfics I have in my head. But really, really phenomenal work! Every update is a treat!
