*I went to Mexico City for the new year. I ended up breaking my phone while I was there. I tried to be cool, act like it was okay. But that shit was stressful. I was alone in another country with no phone. I bought a cheap one that I thought would work with my SIM card - it didn’t. So I could only use the phone sparingly when I was connected to wifi. I couldn’t work without my phone. Could barely get around. I don’t speak Spanish, so no more Google translate. I told myself that people used to travel phone free for decades. They were fine. I’ll be fine. And I guess I was. I managed to hang out with some girls I met. Did a hot air balloon tour-thing. Explored the neighborhood I was staying in... So I mean, I managed - I was fine. But damn that shit was stressful.
