So this week something pretty awesome happened.. I reviewed some new music releases on the lovely Jon Holmes’ show on Talk Radio! It was fabulous fun and I loved being able to share my new discoveries, which included the new track ‘Home’ from my favourite unsigned treasure I Am The Cold Man. My little brother - He’s 9, in the 4th grade and working on a really neat science\geography project for school.

Part of the information he needs is peoples’ heights and the state/region they’re from. He’s already asked our entire family, a few neighbors, favorite teachers, and a lot of friends.. but his graphs don’t have a lot of diversity since we all live in p much the same area.

I’ve been busy, busy, busy…so here’s a post that 1) reminds you I’m still alive - hiya! Don’t forget me!

And 2) reminds you that you are a beautiful human and I hope you have a wonderful day.

And can I also just say - because we don’t tell the people we love these things enough - that my mum is an absolutely marvellous, fantastic, ridiculously perfect mother. I am so lucky to have her. And sometimes when I’m moody and tired in the mornings or exhausted after a long day at work, I forget to tell her. Mum - you’re my best mate and you’re more wonderful than a sunny day on the beach.

HIYA! 

My GOODNESS have I been productive! It’s been a mad couple of days getting my new project ready but it’s finally a thing! So the other day I mentioned I wanted to start a music podcast/blog. I’m in the best position for it - being an intern at Radio X means I’m constantly exposed to new music and gigs. It made so much sense for me to create a platform in which I could share allllllll of this fab musical info with you… So may I present to you…

AMP. 

What on earth is AMP I hear you say? AMP is A Music Podcast. A rock/indie podcast with the biggest tunes, music news and acoustic sessions with up-and-coming artists (on a little feature called Up & Strumming!). The first podcast will be released tomorrow, yippee! I’m really excited for you all to hear it. As well as the podcast I’ll be posting about gigs I’ve gone to and trying to land myself all kinds of exclusive content - but let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
