The reason Ferran Torres gets to do a tour of the USA (for his sponsor so aka do his job) is not because he had a big head or thinks he’s now some generational talent (although I’m gathering from some of these interviews that he’s no exactly humble™️ which whatever not my player) it’s bc he’s extremely hot and speaks a decent amount of English. That’s it. Hot European guy who can do interviews in English scores World Cup winning goal on US soil is the dream for a brand trying to get a better share of the market so of course under Armour (American brand) is going to parade him around. Tbh he’s kind of a dream for American marketing: handsome, good topics that aren’t soccer (dogs, mental health, recently spent two months in the country), and kind of down for anything.
