Im always scared to call someone my friend because what if they dont consider me a friend and hate me because of that

I really hoped I'd never have to make this, but here we are.

I'm really behind on rent. The apartment complex where I live is merciless, and will attempt to evict if a rent payment is late. They also charge a $299 late payment fee that stacks each day.

We cannot afford to move anywhere else right now, and the combined paychecks of my entire family are just not enough to break even, even with multiple jobs.

My entire family is POC, and we're all disabled. I myself am queer (transmasc-nonbinary), and we have a dog who we're scared of having to rehome because of potentially becoming homeless and losing our means of taking care of her.

I need to raise $2500USD by August 15th or my family risks going homeless. This is to cover the rest of our rent and late fees, and to give us just a tiny bit of grace for September.

We can't get government assistance, we tried and they said they have nothing for our area. I'm terrified. I've done everything I can and it's just not enough.

Everyone should be aware of nitter.net

for any address to twitter you can replace the “x.com” with “nitter.net” and you will be able to browse as if you have an account. Lifesaver.

Similarly, imginn.com works for most Instagram addresses. I still haven’t found one for Facebook.
