Again with Tumblr assuming all sex work is positive and empowering and that women aren’t harmed through it in any way or that decriminalizing it will automatically make all the problems disappear ………okay

Saying “ women who are sex workers shouldn’t be demonized” and saying “sex work is harmless and empowering” are two very different things yet you guys continuously conflate the two at the expense of women who are thought of as property or bring forced into it or do it because they have no other place to go all of which unintentionally enables the “men should have access to women’s bodies whenever they want” line of thought. There are women in sex work who DON’T want to be there.

Not all sex work is inside a feminist “my choice” bubble (some of it is!) Stop thinking of it that way.
