My Wife Needs Help
My girlfriend, Bridget, has just fallen under an extremely sanity-threatening situation.
Sheās trans, mtf, Iām not sure how many of you know that, but thatās the case, and as such sheās been doing hormone therapy for over a decade now.
Her hormones are no longer covered by her medical insurance as of this month, and she now has to pay 350 bucks a vial (monthly) to refill her prescription, or she has to drop her anti-depressants, which are 90 bucks a month.
She only makes enough on SSI to pay for one of them and not the other. I canāt live with life fucking my girlfriend over so much, so Iām going to try to fundraise for her.
My goal is to put away 880 bucks so she has the money for her hormones and her anti-depressants for at least the next two months, so she can save her SSI and use it for a month or two after that.
During that time, sheās trying to get a job so she can afford real medical insurance to cover the costs of her medications, but right now sheās living with the threat of losing the things she needs because her state cut off her insurance. She needs help.
