The Fallen Queen (Pasts Rekindled AU)
The room felt cold as she stared at him, A feeling all too familiar amongst them both. He stood at the kitchen counter, glaring practically daggers into her with his mustard yellow eyes.
She couldn’t move, even if she wanted to. Her eyes locked on him, her body like a deer in headlights her mind raced. Just the other day he was the sweetest man alive and now accusing HER of adultery, if this isn’t karma she didn’t know WHAT it was.
“Snatcher, listen to me please I beg of you! It is a misunderstanding I was paying for-“ She softly cried “I would never leave you, you know this!”
All he responded was silence.
“Take her away.” Was all that could be heard from the ghosts mouth as the guards approached her.
Tears filled her eyes as she dashed out the door. Her cloak flowing amongst the icy cold wind, with each step she could see the ground began to melt from a pearly white to a purple ground.
Her mind tried to deny the reality set before her as she made her way into Subcon. Dashing past the Subconites in fear and took shelter at the only place she knew, Florist.
“Wh- What are you do-mpf!” The Florist soon cut off. A hand over the mouth by Vanessa and hid as two Soldiers passed by the hidden Queen and Florist, fear filling them both.
“What are you doing?!” The Florist quivered in a shaken whisper.
“Snatcher, He...Something is off he wants me dead… “ The Fallen Queen whispers, looking to see if clear.
“He always wanted you dead before you two got back together.” The Florist rolls her eyes.
Once assured the two come out to see Subconites staring at them both, they were afraid.
“Wh-what’s going on?! Wh-what are they looking for?!” One began to panic
Vanessa sighed, looking at them. She looked full of dread as her eyes soon glanced at her subjects. She took a breath and said, “Snatcher has corrupted, he is looking for me.”
The crowd began to whisper, the whisper soon became arguing.
“Everyone calm down!” The Florist tried to calm the panicked crowd to no avail.
Vanessa sighed looking amongst the chaos she created, her eyes glanced at the ground. ‘Great. Turned in for seeking help. She should’ve said something earlier. ‘ The thoughts raced through her mind nearly in tears, she ran. It was all she could do.
The Florist watched in panic, she went to follow but stopped herself. She sighed looking to the crowd.
