26, they/them. My main fandom at the moment is Dragon Age, but I also sometimes reblog stuff about Star Trek, Resident Evil, Pokémon, and Deltarune.

I can be critical but I don't necessarily like to get involved in fandom debates. Mostly I just use this blog to share whatever thoughts I have about the things I like.

Dragon Age

A series about Anders as the Inquisitor which will follow him from the prologue to the end of Trespasser and beyond. Expect a lot of focus on interactions and dynamics between characters, the templar-mage war, and the ordeal of becoming an icon more than a person.

This series is currently ongoing. I also use two tags for it: #inquisitor anders (for general fandom musings about the concept and fic sharing) and #wave inquisitor anders AU (for stuff pertaining specifically to this series, used not to clog up the first fandom tag).

This series also features a lot of OCs. I am currently planning some reference posts for each one of them, but that will take a bit of time.

Arwen is alone and not even on the continent of Thedas anymore. What also doesn’t help is that she is starting to transform into a ghoul and she is not happy about that fact. She wants to see Alistair again who is at Skyhold and Leliana did the right thing and didn’t tell Arwen that Morrigan was also at Skyhold. Arwen would have straight up abandoned her quest to find a cure to the calling if she was aware of that fact. But hey at least now Morrigan doesn’t know that Arwen has a strip of one of her old robes on her person. Arwen just hopes that her quest gets results so she can finally see Alistair again.

Chapter six of The Hinterlands, from my Inquisitor Anders series, is finally here.

Excerpt:

"We should attempt to reestablish communication between you and Justice," Solas declared out of nowhere. The two mages stared at each other, one expectantly, and one caught quite unprepared. "You mean, here? Right now?" Anders blurted, gesturing at the camp they'd just finished setting. Though the Carta's hideout had seemed like a prime location for an Inquisition's base... They'd still agreed to sleep a bit farther down, away from the cinders of the bandits' pyre. Now, Cassandra was checking one last time that the tents would not collapse on their heads – making sure that they would sleep well at night after having offed a dozen people. Varric and Harding were building another fire, one for supper, this time. "And when would you suggest discussing this?" Solas enquired back. "I do not wish to admonish you, but you have to admit that your responsibilities in Haven did kept you from addressing this matter. Nor would I believe to be wrong in pointing out that this would all be better done in a... Less populated area." Yes, though Anders could not be accused of having slacked off, to say he had let his work distract him from having to grapple with this problem was... Not untrue either.

Y'all for real please do these. Even if you're certain your posture doesn't suck. One day you will wake up with impinged shoulder pain like I did and let me tell you it fucking HURTS. Do these exercises even just once a week and it will make such a difference. Especially my fellow creatives out there, stop shrimping over your work and go do these right now. RIGHT NOW.

Also, if you’re even a little concerned about getting a hump or having trouble standing fully upright in your old age, this is how you prevent that. If you want to be up and about when you’re old you have to start when you’re younger. And keep in mind there is no bad time to start and it’s never too late. Starting today is way better than never starting at all.
