I don’t think I’ll ever be able to put in words exactly why “The Place Where It Rained” is one of the greatest songs to me, EVER.

And I know I’m biased because “It’s Raining Somewhere Else” is my favorite track in all of Undertale.

They’re both just such solemn songs filled with memory of a place you can’t get back to but loved dearly. TPWIR doesn’t even have San’s theme cause it’s the song that reminds HIM of home TOBY FOX IM IN YOUR WALLS!!!

Crackpot Theory That is NOT True Alert: what if sans is a part of the knight's conspiracy

i was watching a video on how the Knight (Dess, in this case) and Image_Friend have a lot of visual similarities with Undertale's amalgamets. They argued that maybe, this is because they're the same in that they're creatures fused with an excess determination, only in this case its determination of the Deltarune variaty, unique in its connection to the creation of Darkness. The video posed the Knight's kidnappings and the shelter as a hide out are in service of another 'True Lab' made to reverse Dess's condition.

I thought the idea video's proposal had a lot of merit, my only nagging thought was that I couldnt bring myself to imagine other conspiracy members like Carol and Kris running experiments. Carol, in particular, is a politian and not a scientist. And Gaster is too hands-off to be in direct contact with them. Maybe, they got Alphys to help them, though then again, her dialogue at the Church made her out to be completely in the dark. And then I thought. There is one last scientist left in Hometown. One whose expertise lies in timeline anomalies and alternate worlds. Who moved in recently, but not too recently, given he must have had time to set up shop. Someone who arrived just in time to help set Carol's plans in motion.

Bro onto nothing, you say, and I hear you Because I am onto nothing. But! We are told Kris and Sans have never met before. Right? Except. Chapters 3 and 4 seem to be pushing the idea that a lot, if not most of the dialogue options, are Kris's own thoughts. From their witty jokes like "bangin' sermon my man", to the half-baked ones like "she look very nice", to the mean impulse ones they'd never say like "good. keep smiling". And what is the first dialogue option upon first seeing Sans? The obvious meta joke , the thing we misunderstood as an Undertale reference?

"Great to see you again."

Carol is aware of the soul and its nature, she seems to be obsessed with it. If Sans is her hired help into trans-dimensional experiments, he could've been let into the secret of Kris's condition. Then, he'd no to cover for their slip-up, while winking conspirationally at the camara like a smug motherfucker.

For a while I've had the question of how will 'Sans Deltarune' become 'Sans Undertale' if he's so far removed from Deltarune's story so far? Are we going to suddenly halt through the Fun Gangs development just to solve a mystery pertaining a character from that's more than ten years old, and holds no actual current relevance? Is what is essentially a background, unrelated NPC going to be portaled to another dimension during the Roaring, through no fault of their own? Is that really a proportional punishment for the crime of wanting to bang Kris's mom??? Or is Sans Deltarune simply going to fall. into one of his own creations.

The Deltarune community is running out of things to talk about.
