I had to admit to myself that being depressed was easier for me. I had to admit that depression felt like hitting rock bottom & trying to be happy would let me climb out of that but I’d run the risk of falling right back down. But once you get over that fear of falling you’ll realize it’s worth the risk. Don’t be comfortable with your sadness. That may be all you know but you have to relearn things. That’s what life & love is about, learning & growing. You’ll adapt to the happiness & once you do you’ll never go back. You’ll be proud of yourself that you fought for something instead of letting this world take away your right to be okay.
