Thank you all for your interest and patience in the site! I’m really excited to bring this to you. This is a quick announcement to say that the GRAND OPENING will be moved to tomorrow, Saturday December 10th at 12:00 noon EST! The holidays really put a crazy wrench in the week for me and I just need one extra day to finalise content! Thank you SO much for your patience once again and we can’t WAIT to see you there!

ANNOUNCEMENT!

Happy holiday season, everyone! We’re very excited to announce that our Soft Opening (Via Discord) went off with a bang, and we are finally [finally] ready to announce an official open date! 

Mark your calendars and grab your character sheets because on Friday, December 9th at 10a.m. EST we will be opening our doors to the public! This will be done via tumblr announcement so remember to turn your notifications on!

ALSO A REMINDER! Characters made on-site during our soft opening receive a special award to display on their profile/mini profile, as a thanks from us! There’s still time to join our Discord and hop on character creation, don’t be afraid to stop by!

Last, we still have a few moodboard adoptables available for claim on our Tumblr! These adoptables will continue after open to help fuel character creation ideas among members, and can be created and submitted by our members via our Discord! To claim please send an ask/message with your out-of-character alias and the moodboard you’d like to reserve!

Hello!! absolutely! We hosted our soft opening via discord in november, and have been taking it slow for the holidays, getting situated. We predict an official opening day early this month! Just a few more things to fine-tune ;) feel free to join us on our discord for early access, questions, and to get to know the early crew!

i know you mentioned this was sandbox style, but are you going to allow the option of beast riders? ie with dragon riders, dire wolves, etc. 👀

That's an interesting question! So for normal land mounts we will have a shop on-site that allows you to purchase the use of personal mounts. There are two options common, and uncommon. Direwolf would fit into your uncommon mounts. You earn points by posting/interacting with the site!

We will still abide by 5e standard as a guideline for what is and isn't feasible for a player character just to keep things balanced amongst players and provide a framework that everyone can research and follow together.

Dragon riding would probably be handled on a case to case basis as it would provide a pretty big edge over other characters if used for combat purposes, so we would have to review the profile and talk over ground rules with the player about it just so everyone is on the same page! [The same way we don't want people making full, God tier characters for the sake of play and balancing, unless discussed first]

If you can narratively justify it, we are more willing to allow it and maybe even allow you to create a faction out of it for others to plot with/join!

Dragons are sentient creatures so that would have to be taken in to account narratively!
