When my time comes, forget the wrongs that I’ve done. Help me leave behind some reasons to be missed. Don’t resent me. And when you’re feeling empty, keep me in your memory. Leave out all the rest. I don’t have words for this. I hope so badly that I’ll wake up tomorrow and this will all have been a terrible dream. You meant so much to so many people. Your music helped millions overcome the horrors of their lives, and helped them battle the demons that plagued them. How come no one could help you? Wherever you are, Chester Bennington, I hope you’re finally at peace. You deserved so much better. You deserved the world. Thank you for your music, and your light. Thank you for everything.
