Iām a little over 5 feet and itās been a struggle in every kitchen I have been in because itās like they were designed for giants.
The problem I think is that restaurantĀ kitchens are never given adequate space so the only solution is to build up in order to fit everything you need on your tiny little station. :/
Thatās funny, cuz Iām about 5ā²5ā³ and Iāve always felt that standard prep tables were designed with dwarves in mind.
5ā²7ā³ and I feel like I have the best of both worlds in kitchens - I can reach mostĀ things pretty well, but I donāt bang my head on hanging racks like my taller coworkers do.Ā
