I am beyond livid. While playing red dead 2 online my character was brutally attacked by two players who then proceeded to hogtie her, drag her to a saloon, get drunk, and then throw her onto a bed. They then dumped her in a sheep pen and strangled her. They simulated a violent sexual assault. This is beyond reproach. Playing online you have to be aware that there are jerks out there, but this unacceptable. I was vocal on my headset that this was not cool. That this is disgusting, and that they needed to stop. They did not. I fought like hell because I did have something to prove. I was not okay with what was happening. But every time I broke free, they chased me down and hogtied me again. I could have ended the session, but I had to see how far they were going to take this. These horrible people took it to an unforgivable extreme. Rape is not a form of entertainment. Yes this was a video game, and there are real survivors who need our attention, but for anyone to think that is fun is a despicable human. They are promoting rape culture and violence against women. Anyone who has an xbox, please report Dash FL and The Skidoodler. They do not deserve to play video games with women.
