Nothing like having less than 48 hours to make a 2-minute (3,600 frame) animation that you barely had time to set up. The only blessing is that it is digital. Jesus fucking Christ, I hate college finals.

I am running on 2 hours of sleep and will probably get less tonight.

I'm glad that they saw their mistakes and found a way for everyone to benefit from this. I have seen a few YouTube apologies, and this is by far one of the good ones. I am glad that they pointed out certain issues that the fans had, and I'm glad they found a happy medium.

I know I already talked about this matter, but I just have some more things to say.

As I think more clearly on the matter, I understand both sides more and more.

I wrote the original post in a lot of anger and hurt. And I'll admit, I wrote it in a way that didn't properly express how I felt overall and really was just the tip of the iceberg of feelings. I'm not saying creators shouldn't get paid or that their quality isn't worth $6, but what makes watcher different from other streaming services is that if one show on Netflix goes on hiatus they have a thousand more that will interest me while I wait. I only watch 2-3 shows of watcher, and their other shows aren't for me, so to pay for a handful of shows that I only get every 6 months is not justifiable for me. It may be for other people, and that's fine.

So, with a more calmed mindset and more understanding. I wish them luck in this new chapter for them, but it does feel like I was stabbed in the back with their video. I unfortunately was not in a place I could pay for their patreon, and I'm still not in that place. But as it is their company, it is up to them to do what they believe is necassary to keep it afloat. So it was fun while it lasted, and I do hope that things don't crash and burn for them.
