I am SO FOR young LGBT being outspoken with their self love and having cute little “Am I X or Y” memes and sharing self care and sources on how to be safe. When I was first coming to terms with being gay (Only 6 years ago mind you, 6 years) the only positivity I had was people posting about their sinful OTPs or a destiel manips where they kiss.

I’m so happy because I’m hearing about young trans guys learning how to bind properly, young trans girls learning where to buy/apply makeup, young lesbian/gay/bi kids loving themselves vehemently with actual CANON characters to look up to.

Young LGBT I’m so proud of you and you’re all so strong and amazing. I know how hard and confusing it can be when you’re trying to figure out who you are but I know you can do it. It’s ok to change, to learn, and grow as a person, and it’s our job as older LGBT to support you along the way.
