Shouto had noticed the sound of the doorknob and the lock being fumbled with. Quickly catching on he silently grabbed the doorknob “Let go and tap the door when I am clear to send in my ice” He quietly said through the door “I will send in a thin layer under the door but you have to give me a clear detection the person is in” He sent his ice under the door, freezing a small place infront of the door but not were Rune stood.

Rune did her best to point out where the stranger was. She put her foot against the door, hoping her shadow on the other side would direct him. She stepped back and prepared herself to use her Quirk. She knew she could break a bullet if needed. 

“What are you here for? Do you plan on using that gun?” She asked again. This time she didn’t need an answer. She only wanted a subtle way to let Shouto know of the weapon. And how serious this could be.

Following the direction the shadow pointed, he quickly moved his ice over to the villain and froze him. He opened the door “You Okay Rune?” He asked while looking at the villain “You aren’t hurt are you?” His voice carried a slight hint of worry but also wanted to not show the emotions infront of the Enemy

Rune breathed a sigh of relief when he left. She knew he felt pushed away, but she had to. The stranger lowered their gun. The heavy metal piece falling to a safe position. “What do you want?” She asked the figure. No answer. They just gestured for her to lock the door. Rune did as they wished. In an attempt to let Shouto know something was up, she purposely struggled with the lock. But at the same time, she didn’t want him to get mixed up in whatever this was.

“Hey? Are you ok?” He asked while staring at her. “If you need to talk, I would listen” He said as She turned towards him. The moment the words left her mouth, the anger and sadness in her voice. It made him think of his mother in a way, letting his hand fall back to his side, he gave a silent nod before moving towards the door.

“If you need anything, just text me” His voice cracked slightly, opening the door and walking out, he turned to look back at her. “I don’t know if I will be available though” with that he shut the door.
