Jenny stopped and took a deep breath. âJen, Jenny, Jennifer...Jenny, people call me Jenny,â she nodded as felt pretty stupid right now.

âCome on now, donât do that. Its nice to meet you missâŠ.?â
Jenny stopped and took a deep breath. âJen, Jenny, Jennifer...Jenny, people call me Jenny,â she nodded as felt pretty stupid right now.
Oh man...
âProbably has something to do with my lack of sleep.â He grumbled, shutting his eyes once more as the sunlight begins to make his head throb. âIâm never drinking again. Ever. Except on special occasions maybe. I probably will drink again to be honest.âÂ
âBeen there,â She laughed as she shook her head. âActually I am there pretty often to be honest.â Jenny sighed as she admitted this truth. âItâs just so much fun, even if it feels like you got punched in the brain the next morning.âÂ
âAh, youâre lucky. Iâve never really been on any trips, my parents were never that keen on going places so we always stuck to staying home,â Mia sighed quietly at the thought before a smile reached her lips, âbut that can change now that Iâm on my own.â As the other girl spoke, she found herself nodding along with her words, âYea, that sounds about right actually.â A grin graced her lips as she spoke turning to the other girl, âIâm Mimi, well Mia really but nobody really calls me that. Itâs nice to meet you Jenny.â
âAre you like totally on your own?â Jennyâs eyebrows knitted together as she thought about it. That actually seemed kind of scary to her. âMimi,â she repeated the girls name with a warm smile. âHi, itâs nice too meet you too. Iâm glad you are enjoying yourself, and youâre not stuck at home.â She commented with a light laugh.Â

Down Dog
Honestly, he didnât expect such an earnest response from someone who looked, well, looked like this girl did. She was young, blonde, perfect physique, Jonah was honestly expecting a completely different front to this person. But, it was interesting to see, and he couldnât help but become curious about her. But, what she said next caused him to let out a laugh, which was almost even surprising to Jonah with how this cruise was going, and he couldnât help but bring a hand up to his mouth to almost try to quiet it.
âMake it up to me?â He asked, still amused, but he couldnât help but take advantage of this situation to try and get to know her more. âWell, my phone is just cracked, it will still work, so itâs not so much you have to make up to me.â He admitted, showing her his phone even as it was just a hairline crack towards the bottom, barely anything to worry about. âIt was old anyways.â He continued, almost like he was trying to comfort the girl before he shook his head. âWell, how about a quick meal together, howâs that for making it up to me?â
When he began laughing she was more than a little confused. She had nearly kicked him and cracked his phone. But her reaction made him laugh, this was very unusual for Jenny. Still it was much better than the alternative, she reminded herself of this. She squared her shoulders as she waited for his response.Â
A meal? Was that really all he wanted...wait...was he asking her out? Was she reading too much into this? Probably, he probably just wanted company. âUm seriously?â She said perplexed and unsure. She shifted her weight a little as she thought on the situation some more. âYeah, okay,â she finally nodded her head as she answered him. âI think that would be nice actually. Um...my name is Jenny by the way.â She offered, it seemed like the polite thing to do, although it was hard to tell in this situation what was right to do.
âBabe, I know drunk when I see it.â Being a borderline alcoholic himself and hanging around those like him, Noah could probably spot a little drunk girl from a mile away. He couldnât help but smirk at this one, putting a hand on her shoulder he hummed, âAnd youâre very drunk.âÂ
âMy name is Jenny,â she let out a giggle at the sound of her own voice. She noticed the way he draped his arm around her shoulder, and was pleasantly surprised by it. She turned and smiled at him. âIt isnât babe, and maybe I am drunk, but a girl can have a little fun right?âÂ
Unfashionable
the girl raises a brow as she tries curling her hair with a wand, yet it was no where near warm, and she gave up at last and let her long hair lazily hang on her shouldersâ with a roll of eyes, the girl wonders why she brought this useless piece of metal with her. âjenn, give me a secâ in no time, she was out of the bathroom, âwhere are we going today?â she stroll over to her companion of the day, with a smile on her face and warps her arms around her friendâs âand are you really sure i am reliable enough to get you someâŠâ her eyes scans the other up and downâ even as a woman she feels jealous for her well craved body and curves, then her eyes moves back to⊠her ownâŠbody that resembles an adolescent, kylie lets out a soft sigh before continuing ââŠsome clubbing attire? and no jenn im not seeing somebody..i mean..â fragments of memories flows back to her, accompanied with strings of mixed emotion. âits really complicated..â
When she came out of the bathroom Jennifer smiled and stood up. She looked pretty and she was pleased it didnât take her eight hours to get ready. âI think there was some shopping somewhere...I donât want to go to a ton of stores. I want in and out and no more.â She explained with a heavy sigh. âI donât know if you are reliable but you are my best bet so.â She shrugged her shoulders as she looked over Kylie. Her eyes lit up a little at the way Kylie seemed to deflect the question. âHey hey wait a minute.â She said eyeing her up. âI donât care if it is a fucking odyssey! Dish right now!âÂ
He nodded, answering to her surprise. âYeah, not badâ, Oliver joked, chuckling. âI kind miss Germany, but⊠Chatswin is a good place to come when you have no where else to goâ, he explained, grinning. âOh, itâs ok. I am oblivious myself, and itâs hard to remember faces when you see them in such rush hours⊠Being a bartender is not as easy as some people say it isâ, with a sigh, he shakes his head once. âHave you always lived here?â
âGermany? Really? Wow so you are a long way from home.â She nodded as she thought about it. That was really impressive in her opinion, and brave as well. She had never even been out of the country herself. âOh youâre a bartender? That must be kind of tricky. I mean having to deal with obnoxious customers and all that jazz.â She rolled her eyes as she thought about it. âI have lived here as long as I can remember. I was adopted when I was four so yeah.âÂ
Bridget Jonesâs Diary, dir. Sharon Maguire (2001)
â âŠanyone knows what year it is? â
âIt is 2015, but honestly most of the time it takes me a while to remember. Most days I still think it is 2005.âÂ
"Did you need something darling?â
âWhat?â Jennifer was completely lost all the sudden. He was really pretty. âSorry no I just...Iâm just gonna leave you alone forever now.âÂ
Jennifer wasnât really a drinker. But tonight was different. However she had probably had one too many. Her lips felt numb and she could hear herself getting louder. âIâm not drunk!â She assured the person who was now standing beside her. Her slurred speech sliding her words along. âYou are just blurry.âÂ
âOh, Image Comics!â, the name clearly rings a bell on his head, remembering a few titles he had read from them. âI didnât yet, though itâs on my to read list, to be honestâ, Ben sighs, shaking his head. âAs you said, many comics to read and so little timeâstudy and workâ, he frowns a little, though he was a typical nerd, who cared way too much for his grades. âAlso, there is a good point in working, since I work in this comic book story, so I am always updated about them in generalâ, he grins at the girl. âYou should come here more times, I am sure we can talk about comics and all.â
âYou work at a comic book store? Really? Oh gosh Iâm totally jealous.â She smiled brightly at him as she tucked some of her hair behind her ear. âI usually buy my comics in bundles on amazon. I work at the bookstore myself. Stacking young adult novels day in and day out.â She laughed lightly as she rolled her eyes. âOh Iâm Jenny by the way.âÂ
Surprised by the girlâs voice, Ben looks at her, his eyebrows raised. âHow come youâve never read anything with Wade Winston Wilson?!â, he asks, too shocked at this point. âYou should read some, he is one of the best characters, at least for meâ, explains, laughing.
âOh⊠That explains a lot!â, nods. âI kind like DC, but only because of The Flash, to be very honest. I am kind biased with Marvelâa total fanboy, maybeâ, he confesses, shaking his head.
âOkay, Iâll totally add it to my list if you say itâs good.â She nodded her head as she chewed her lip. âI just never got around to it. There are so many comics to read and so little time.âÂ
âI had a big crush on Nightwing when I was thirteen, so that is why DC has my heart. However lately Iâve been reading a lot of Image Comics. Like The Wicked and The Divine. Have you read that one? It is amazing and Iâm literally obsessed.â She sighed as she spoke about it.Â
Glancing over at the girl beside her Mia nodded, returning the smile she was given. She couldnât help but agree with what the other said, because it was exactly the same with her. Just being on the ship was a dream come true. âThis is the first ship Iâve ever been on.. well the first holiday Iâve ever been on.â She spoke softly as she returned to looking out at the sparkling blue waters, âI never imagined that the sea in general could look so nice, Iâm so used to seeing it from beaches, and it doesnât look nearly as nice as this from those.â
âYeah? Me too actually,â Jenny smiled at the girl as she shifted a little to face her. âI mean I would go on family camping trips and stuff like that. But it is a lot different.â She explained with a smile. She nodded her head as she looked out onto the water. âItâs kind of magical from here. Like you just wanna stick your toes in and melt away you know what I mean?â She giggled a little at the thought. âMy name is Jenny by the way.âÂ
He cocked a brow at the female, his eyes averted to the candy bar. âWhat if Iâm allergic to peanut butter?â Though the gesture was sweet, pun intended, he didnât need the glutinous treat. âThanks.â he picked up his chopsticks to continue eating, just as he was before she approached him.Â
âThen letâs hope you have an epipen,â she muttered under her breath. She straightened up and sighed. âYouâre welcome, donât actually eat it if you are allergic. And sorry if you had a shit day or something.â She spoke before turning lightly on her heels.Â
