Portrait of the Landscape [Terra and Fang]
The ocean. A grand a marvelous venture with powerful waves and creatures great and small beneath them. Fang had heard about the event and figured it would be a good idea to join in on the fun and attempt to brush off her old rusty skills with a surfboard. While the campus had rented the space for the day, she took hold of the opportunity with one of the vendors to grab up a board which she carried beneath an arm.
She appeared over dressed for the occasion to the beach in sandals, jeans, a hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses but she was relaxed all the same. Approaching the artist, it took her a moment before recognizing his voice. “Oh, hey Terra. Enjoyin’ the sights eh? Heh, ya seem ta be keepin’ a wide berth from the water’s edge. Not one for swimmin’, hm?”
Setting her board down, Fang took the time to pull off her sweatshirt and sandals to strip out of her outer clothes. Beneath it all, she wore a simple black and dark green bikini that suited her quite well. With a necklace of leather with a shark fang around her neck, she grinned toward her friend while piling her things up neatly together. “Mind if I leave these small things on the beach with ya? I wanna hit some of those waves before they weaken.”
There was nothing like enjoying herself on sandy beaches with water not far behind her. Surfing was like being back home again to her and she hoped to enjoy it. “Maybe when I get a few rides in, I should drag ya out and get ya ta try it a little? That is, only if ya want to. Won’t force ya.” she chuckled.
Terra smiled at the young woman as he continued to draw, "Yeah, not so much swimming, just swimming in endless water gives me the shakes a little, i'd rather draw a good memory then one of me terrified of the water," The man slowly drew waves in the distance, where even the thought of standing neck deep within the water sent shivers down the young artist's spine.
Terra couldn't help but give a quick glance as the young woman stripped to her bikini, the board lying next to her. His glance returned to the drawing, as he slowly began to draw a small Fang in the distance, his mind already seeing her in her black and dark green bikini and board in her hand.
"Yeah, go ahead, i won't lose anything," Terra slowly dragged the items under his canvas, that way if anyone did decide to to grab her items, Terra would know and take mere seconds to beat the ever-living crap out of them, before turning them to fang and letting her finish them off.
Upon hearing her proposition, Terra shook his head, "No thanks, i've had bad memories with boards, specially with one of those rides which create waves, smacked my heads more time then i'd like to admit, though im sure you will provide enough inspiration to create more surfers on my canvas." Terra finished the small fang running towards the water and slowly turned the canvas just an inch to show the young woman.
"What do you think? look like you?"Â
