Solitude, Capital of Haafingar Hold
"The home of the famous Bards' College, Haafingar is also one of Skyrim's chief ports, and ships from up and down the coast can be found at her crowded quays, loading timber and salted cod for the markets of Wayrest, West Anvil, and Senchal. Founded during Skyrim's long Alessian flirtation, the Bards' College continues to flaunt a heretical streak, and its students are famous carousers, fittingly enough for their chosen trade. Students yearly invade the marketplace for week of revelry, the climax of which is the burning of "King Olaf" in effigy, possibly a now-forgotten contender in the War of Succession. Graduates have no trouble finding employment in noble households across Tamriel, including the restored Imperial Court in Cyrodiil, but many still choose to follow in the wandering footsteps of illustrious alumni such as Callisos and Morachellis."
-Pocket Guide to the Empire, First Edition
Dunmer Hlaalu councilman Vares Veleth in Necrom, revived to attend court summons and resolve a minor land dispute between two of his great grandsons, both from different families. Despite being displeased with his descendants' inability to settle affairs by themselves, he was notably cheerful, happy to drink sujamma one more time, and not in a hurry to return to his burial chamber, despite "generally preferring it to the tumultuous world of the living."
Beauty holds the keys to his shackles. Beauty, and a love of great works. Great heights. His appetites are insatiable, thus his despair.
Vivec craves radical freedom, the death of all limits and restrictions. He wishes to be all things at all times. Every race, every gender, every hero, both divine and finite ...
… but in the end, he can only be Vivec

Thinking what if mer had 3rd eyelids like cats for extra eyes protection I imagine when closed you can vaguely see their pupils
For Altmer theirs is golden but bc their etiquette it’s never seen unless they absolutely need to probably considered very rude to show them when not needed showing them during a convo is like rolling your eyes at someone
Dunmer have red lids it’s a lot more accepted in their culture to close the 3rd lid especially after the red year
Bosmer have greenish brown ones they use when hunting to help camouflage their eyes since the 3rd dominion takeover they’ve had to adjust to Altmeri social norms of only using when needed previously they were very casual about their lids showing
Orismer have green ones they use when fighting eachother contrary to Altmer it’s rude for an orc not to use their lids when fighting eachother ESPECIALLY when battling a chieftain
Falmer have white pre blindness they had similar standard to Altmer though a lil more lax post blindness they use them all the time
Dwemer hove more golden bronze I imagine a lot of them used them after a long day of working on robots to help relax
Aylieds I imagine are gold like Altmer same etiquette rules however they deliberately used them around the humans bc they didn’t view them as worthy of respect
Ever just stare at the strongholds and get ideas (I got lazy with the netches I'm so sorry)
Peryite, The Blight Dragon
"I have watched you for some time, you know. The decisions you've made intrigue me, and I wonder if you are a proper agent for a task of mine. I sent a blessing to Mundus, a wasting plague that infected a scattering of Breton villages. One of my monks, the elf Orchendor, was sent to gather these Afflicted. He shepherded them into Bthardamz for me, but has since lost his way. I will not stand for betrayal. I want you to go to Bthardamz and Kill Orchendor, in my name."
