fandom is fun because sometimes we learn surprising new things about ourselves. for example today i learned that i have very strong opinions about placing the members of kpop boy group stray kids into dnd character classes, something i had never thought about prior to ten minutes ago when these very strong opinions formed.

possibly my most controversial of these opinions is bang chan is an artificer, as he is somebody who spends his entire life obsessing over the fiddly fussy detail-oriented act of creating things.

okay because @deep-hearts-core asked and because i made @snickerdoodlles (who doesn't even play dnd) endure one million DMs on the subject, i shall expand:

bang chan: artificer, although NPCs always assume he’s a more active combat class. spends a lot of time constructing wildly complex creations with insane levels of detail and care for the rest of the group to use. solves every problem by working on more stuff.

lee know: fighter. picks fights for fun. versatile, aggressive, good at kicking. pretends to be coming along only for mercenary reasons but secretly enjoys the adventuring.

changbin: paladin. do i need to explain this one. is there a more noble, loyal, honorable, lawful good dude anywhere. won’t go looking to start a fight but will throw down to protect his own.

hyunjin: sorcerer. does powerful magic more by artistic instinct than scholarly study. dramatic and impulsive. vaguely unsettling to NPCs who suspect they are outmatched. most likely to wear a sweeping cape and make it work.

han: bard. makes magic with words and music. outrageously charming. engaging storyteller. can always provide a distraction in a tight spot. i’m listing bard traits but i’m also just describing han.

felix: cleric, but built with max charisma. can fight with great skill. prefers to heal wounds and protect children and rescue small animals. wins over NPCs with friendly openness and willingness to hear their side of a story.

seungmin: rogue, but cheerfully lies and tells everybody he’s a bard. lies and cheats for fun. can flip a switch and be the most polite and upright young gentleman any NPC has ever met in their lives. sows chaos. doesn't need to adventure for any deep reason; is in it for the shenanigans.

jeongin: warlock. a deal with a mysterious dark power is a small price to pay for being able to eldritch blast anybody who annoys and/or tries to hug him. refuses to tell anybody which entity he serves. thinks it's funny that this freaks people out.
