It just still blows my mind that people can look at Dean Winchester and his traumatic history--glimpsed his mom burning on the ceiling, had his infant baby brother pushed into his arms to protect when he was four years old, had his entire life uprooted, his formerly loving father turning into an obsessed soldier who crafted his sons into soldiers, neglectful and sometimes emotionally abusive, living an itinerant life, separation from the little brother he helped raise, his father then dying and going to hell to save him, then his brother dying, and Dean selling his soul to save him, and getting ripped apart by hellhounds and going to hell for 40 years and breaking under torture to become the torturer, carrying the guilt of that after he was saved, finding out that demons and angels have been manipulating his life and his entire family all this time for their agenda, then his brother jumps into a pit with Lucifer to save the world, then his brother comes back wrong/soulless, and his best friend dies, and comes back broken, and then Dean lands in Purgatory with his best friend, and is so traumatized by this his own brain invents a scenario where he pushed his best friend away and failed him so he wouldn't have to accept his best friend pushed Dean away instead, because he wanted to pay penance, then his brother almost dying to try to save the world, then Dean taking on the Mark of Cain, then Dean turning into a demon, and that's just the first 11 seasons--and decide the only trauma he can possibly have is about being closeted and that he's boring if it's not about him being queer, and if he's not a self-hating queer everything is ruined and he's shallow.
