âYou donât know what she would say any better than I do,â she countered. He was right to a certain extent. If Juney paid attention when his name was mentioned, she would know exactly how Charise felt about it. But that wasnât information she would just run and tell Oakley. It wasnât her place. But convincing him to just say something she could do.Â
âOaks,â she sighed and moved toward him sliding up to sit on the small counter next to him. âYes, I know Charise. And I really think what she deserves and what she wants is up to her, not you. But more importantly I know you. And I know you are kind and loyal and honestâŠand one of the funniest people Iâve ever met. And you deserve someone that sees all that. And she does.â

âI mean, youâre right.â Oakley let out a dramatic sigh, although he carefully considered her words. He valued Juneyâs opinion, and she was right. âI guess I could tell her.â He made a face as though he hated the idea, but despite all his apprehension to do so, he felt it was almost harder not to say anything at this point. He had never felt this way about anyone before, and it was clear that it wasnât going to change any time soon. âI should, shouldnât I? Yes. Yes? No! That might be a bad idea-- No, I definitely should.â Oakley rambled, suddenly feeling nervous at the mere idea of sharing his feelings.Â
