The patch was necessary because Starscream's interrogation methods were unreliable and more likely to offline you.

I don't like the sound of that that sounds like something arachnid would use.

They are these wires that hook on the brackets that are glued on our teeth that yank and pull them into the right place over months or years.

Palette expanders are these metal things that are glued to your back molars that when you use the pin thing that goes with it push on your molars and over time expand your upper jaw. There’s other stuff too but I’ll leave it at this for now.

I think she’s one of the most important characters, to me at least: I had PTSD from a horrible school experience as a young kid, and She was the first time I saw a woman portrayed with PTSD in media. I had many of the same symptoms as her, and she made me feel. Seen. not feel alone!

I'm just a random human, but I have a question. What did you do before the war?

yeah… before the war. I uh. I don’t much remember to be honest. I was a sparkling when it started, so be a kid, I guess! In the early days though, I was a scout. I never really knew a crybertron that wasn’t at war. I was to young to remember if I am honest!

I do guess you're right. Doubt the one-eyed-freak would have been much nicer to me. He wasn't- by the way- when I did meet him.

I don't disagree that I've done bad things, but there's a solid difference between that and... whatever in the allspark you enjoy.

How could I be certain? No-one gave me a cortical psychic patch; I couldn't glance at either you or Tailgate's minds. And you know, we were at war. What was I supposed to do once you gave me the coordinates, let you leave with only a few scars? Or did you assume our fights to be merely playground quarrels~?

I didn't know he was your only friend, and frankly? I couldn't care less. People deactivate during war and they never get back up. That's the reality, Arcee. I think it's time for you to wake up~
