[It was late at night while Phantom was in an alleyway, placing glow in the stars on the walls of the buildings. Frost had started to form on the buildings from how long he had been there. He was completely unaware to the person that walked into the alley.]

Koen was on one of her walks, walking in the alleys to avoid any unnecessary prying eyes. She took a turn down one of her usual alleys when she spotted someone else there. She took out a knife just in case he was dangerous.

"...Who are you?"

[Phantom looked over to the source of the voice. His head tilted as he examined her, eye dilating at the sight of the knife. He floated a bit higher and backed away from her to be safe.]

“P̵h̷a̴n̵t̴o̵m̴…̷”

[His voice was distorted but still mostly understandable.]

“D̶i̴d̵n̸’̴t̶ ̶m̶e̴a̸n̵ ̸t̷o̸ ̷s̵c̸a̵r̴e̶…̶ ̵s̴o̸r̷r̷y̵.”

She looked down at....oh shoot he was floating. She slowly put the knife away, holding her hands up in surrender.

"I...sorry I don't usually see people here.... especially not....floating ones?"

“I̵t̵’̴s̸ ̵f̶i̶n̶e̷.̵”

[He floated down to the floor. He changed the form of his ‘feet’ to paws so he could stand better. Even with him standing on the ground, he was a decent amount taller than her.]

She watched him float to the ground, smiling a bit.

"I'm Koen by the way....if you care or anything."

“T̸h̵a̷t̷’̸s̴ ̸a̶ ̶n̵i̵c̸e̶ ̴n̵a̵m̵e̴!̸”

[He smiled in return, subconsciously letting out a quiet chirping noise.]

"Oh...thank you! I like your name as well!

She takes a few steps forward, offering her hand to him in a handshake.

[He looks at her hand for a second.]

“C̷a̴n̸’̸t̴…̷ ̸s̶o̷r̵r̶y̶…̶”

[He makes his hands more visible to her. They are literally made out of space.]

She frowns at his hands, shaking her own hand.

"There! Close enough."

[He let out a laugh as she shook her own hand. His smile got wider, fairly entertained at the action.]

She laughed with him.

"...So what are you doing here? Not many people come down this alley."

“S̴t̴a̶r̸s̸!̴”

[He pointed to the glow in the dark stars that were scattered around the alley and a large box full of the same stars. He looked rather proud of himself.]

“C̸a̷n̷’̷t̴ ̴s̷e̸e̵ ̵t̶h̸e̷ ̷s̷t̵a̵r̸s̸ ̸w̵e̷l̵l̶ ̸h̶e̸r̵e̸,̵ ̷s̵o̵ ̸I̷ ̶t̸h̶o̸u̵g̸h̴t̷ ̵I̸’̷d̵ ̶h̶e̴l̴p̷!̸”

She finally takes a look at the walls, squealing in excitement.

"They're so pretty!!!! I haven't seen the stars in forever!!!!"

[He let a happy chirp to see someone so excited in what he had done.]

“T̶h̵a̷n̵k̴ ̶y̵o̸u̶!̷ ̶T̸h̵e̶r̶e̸’̶s̷ ̸a̵l̸s̶o̷ ̷s̷o̴m̴e̶ ̵c̶o̴n̷s̶t̵e̶l̴l̴a̷t̷i̵o̵n̵s̴!̷”

[He happily pointed out some of the constellations.]

She nods along, looking at the constellations he made.

"I forgot how much I missed the stars!"

“I̴’̶m̷ ̵g̷o̴i̴n̵g̴ ̸t̴o̵ ̸p̵u̴t̵ ̵t̸h̷e̷m̶ ̶a̵l̸l̶ ̶o̶v̶e̸r̴ ̸G̷o̸t̷h̵a̵m̴!̸ ̶T̶h̸a̷t̶ ̸w̶a̶y̸ ̴e̴v̴e̵r̴y̴o̶n̷e̴ ̶w̸i̷l̸l̸ ̴s̴e̵e̸ ̷t̵h̶e̵m̸!̶”

[He exclaimed proudly, floating slightly as he got excited.]

"Can I help?? I really wanna help!!!"

"Mhm!" [He nodded happily before he went over to the box of stars, taking some of the stars and putting them into a separate pile. He grabs a both that was around and putting the pile of stars into the box.] "H̴e̵r̶e̴!̶"

She took the box, jumping up and down.

"Yay!!!!"

[He chirped, happy to have someone who can help him put stars everywhere.]

She took off her jacket, wings extending out.

"I can do the starts on the top of the building!"

[He looked at her wings before nodding.] "I̶'̶l̵l̷ ̴w̷o̵r̷k̷ ̴m̶o̸r̵e̴ ̷o̶n̶ ̷t̵h̵e̸ ̵a̶l̸l̶e̸y̵ ̷a̴n̶d̴ ̸n̴e̸a̵r̴b̸y̶ ̵o̷n̸e̴s̵!̸"

"Sounds perfect!!"

She holds the box, flying up as she starts to place them in the walls.

[He grabs the other box and starts to place the stars on parts of the alley that doesn't have them yet.]

She flies up to the top, making a few constellations before flying back down, placing them just above his head.

[He looks up at her, smiling as he continues place the stars.]

"This is a lot of fun...thanks for letting me join."

"Of course! It's nice to have someone to do this with!"

"I agree!! I haven't hung out with people in a hot second now that I think about it."

"Same! I think it's been a couple months for me I think-"

"Months?!! That's a long time!!"

"Well with how my situation used to be, I couldn't really hang out with people.."

"Used to be?"

"It was...complicated.." [He smiles nervously.]

"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to, but I'll be here to listen."

"It's not really a big issue.. I was kind of a government experiment." [He did quotation marks when he said government.]

"Oh....I can kinda relate I guess."

"Oh? Well, it's nice to have someone that can sorta relate..!"

"It really is!!"

“Now that I think about it, you’re one of the only people I’ve talked to, other than the person taking care of me, since I’ve escaped..! This is nice..”

"Who's taking care of you? And yeah! I like talking to you."

“Oh, uh…. I am realizing I never asked for their name… They just told me that they were friends with someone I barely remember now and I went with them- ….I think I trust people too quickly.”

He wasn't paying attention to exactly where he was going and overworked himself before he was able to get back to Gotham. He was now sitting on the roof of a random building trying to figure out where he is.]

"Hello there," a voice said from behind the boy. Leaf's body swirling into existence, his feet stepping lightly upon the roof top. "A bit lost, are we?"

[Phantom looked up at the man, tilting his head. He nodded, face tear streaked.] "Y̴e̷a̷h̵.̸.̷.̵ ̴D̶-̷d̸o̸ ̵y̶o̶u̶ ̵k̶n̵o̶w̴ ̶w̸h̸e̴r̸e̶ ̸I̷ ̴a̵m̴.̶.̶?̴" [His voice was distorted but at least understandable.]

"you're in Los Angeles, California, in the main part of the city."

[Leaf walked quietly over to Phantom and sat down next to him.]

"C̸A̷L̵I̸F̵O̵R̸N̴I̷A̶?" [He is baffled that he even managed to get this far.] "I̷ ̷d̷i̸d̵n̴'̴t̸ ̵t̶h̷i̴n̴k̶ ̶I̸ ̶c̴o̵u̶l̴d̵ ̵g̵e̶t̵ ̶t̴h̸i̵s̵ ̵f̷a̷r̵-̵"

"stronger than you think, huh?"

"Mhm!" [He nods, before looking around at the different environment.] "Its pretty here!"

"Wait until you see the sun set here, it's gorgeous."

"need any help getting home?"

"Ooo..! Can you see the stars here? But uh yeah... I accidentally overworked myself and now I'm too tired to get back to Gotham-"

"I can clear the skies so you can see them. I'm sure I can figure out a way to get you home."

“Thank you Mister! I’d really appreciate that!”

She finally takes a look at the walls, squealing in excitement.

She took the box, jumping up and down.

[He chirped, happy to have someone who can help him put stars everywhere.]

She took off her jacket, wings extending out.

"I can do the starts on the top of the building!"

She holds the box, flying up as she starts to place them in the walls.

[He grabs the other box and starts to place the stars on parts of the alley that doesn't have them yet.]

She flies up to the top, making a few constellations before flying back down, placing them just above his head.

[He looks up at her, smiling as he continues place the stars.]

"This is a lot of fun...thanks for letting me join."

"Of course! It's nice to have someone to do this with!"

"I agree!! I haven't hung out with people in a hot second now that I think about it."

"Same! I think it's been a couple months for me I think-"

"Well with how my situation used to be, I couldn't really hang out with people.."

Koen was on one of her walks, walking in the alleys to avoid any unnecessary prying eyes. She took a turn down one of her usual alleys when she spotted someone else there. She took out a knife just in case he was dangerous.

"...Who are you?"

[Phantom looked over to the source of the voice. His head tilted as he examined her, eye dilating at the sight of the knife. He floated a bit higher and backed away from her to be safe.]

[He exclaimed proudly, floating slightly as he got excited.]

"Can I help?? I really wanna help!!!"

"Mhm!" [He nodded happily before he went over to the box of stars, taking some of the stars and putting them into a separate pile. He grabs a both that was around and putting the pile of stars into the box.] "H̴e̵r̶e̴!̶"

She took the box, jumping up and down.

"Yay!!!!"

[He chirped, happy to have someone who can help him put stars everywhere.]

She took off her jacket, wings extending out.

"I can do the starts on the top of the building!"

[He looked at her wings before nodding.] "I̶'̶l̵l̷ ̴w̷o̵r̷k̷ ̴m̶o̸r̵e̴ ̷o̶n̶ ̷t̵h̵e̸ ̵a̶l̸l̶e̸y̵ ̷a̴n̶d̴ ̸n̴e̸a̵r̴b̸y̶ ̵o̷n̸e̴s̵!̸"

"Sounds perfect!!"

She holds the box, flying up as she starts to place them in the walls.

[He grabs the other box and starts to place the stars on parts of the alley that doesn't have them yet.]

She flies up to the top, making a few constellations before flying back down, placing them just above his head.

[He looks up at her, smiling as he continues place the stars.]

"This is a lot of fun...thanks for letting me join."

[Phantom was completely lost and tired. He had been teleporting to a bunch of random places and states while testing his newish power. He wasn't paying attention to exactly where he was going and overworked himself before he was able to get back to Gotham. He was now sitting on the roof of a random building trying to figure out where he is.]

"Hello there," a voice said from behind the boy. Leaf's body swirling into existence, his feet stepping lightly upon the roof top. "A bit lost, are we?"

[Phantom looked up at the man, tilting his head. He nodded, face tear streaked.] "Y̴e̷a̷h̵.̸.̷.̵ ̴D̶-̷d̸o̸ ̵y̶o̶u̶ ̵k̶n̵o̶w̴ ̶w̸h̸e̴r̸e̶ ̸I̷ ̴a̵m̴.̶.̶?̴" [His voice was distorted but at least understandable.]

"you're in Los Angeles, California, in the main part of the city."

[Leaf walked quietly over to Phantom and sat down next to him.]

"C̸A̷L̵I̸F̵O̵R̸N̴I̷A̶?" [He is baffled that he even managed to get this far.] "I̷ ̷d̷i̸d̵n̴'̴t̸ ̵t̶h̷i̴n̴k̶ ̶I̸ ̶c̴o̵u̶l̴d̵ ̵g̵e̶t̵ ̶t̴h̸i̵s̵ ̵f̷a̷r̵-̵"
