(PWOTR) Toyhouse: Lariel - The aloof and shy sorceress. Gifted with powerful magic she can barely control. Curious and kindhearted. A bit eccentric. With an air of melancholy around her.
(PWOTR) Toyhouse: Zrise - Lariel's misanthropic brother. Inquisitor of Calistria, the Goddess of vengeance, trickery, and lust. Self-destructive and hot headed. A defiant trickster. Haunted and bad at hiding it.

A little about me
You can call me Dolly.
I got a lot going on in my life. Sometimes I can draw, other times it’s quite difficult and painful for me. I mostly use my creative energy on writing. I used to work on indie games and sometimes still do in my free time.
I’m a lover of many things under the umbrella's of dark, fantasy, gothic, romance, and horror. I play a lot of ttrpgs, and I love crunchy turn based video games.
acts of service bitches when someone doesn't Need Something from them but wants them around anyways and they have to think about the fact that they could possibly be wanted for who they Are rather than what they can Do
Passing some love your way 💖🌷 And also, you reblog such interesting looking tv shows and movies. I've been making mental note of a bunch of them i've been wanting to see :)
Thank you Ren! This is incredibly sweet. 💕💕
I use my personal blog (@hauntedolly) as a collection of sorts. Most are movies/shows I've seen but a few are movies I've added to my watch list. I love to draw inspiration from all over the place.
hamlet’s “i did love you once” and ophelia’s “indeed, my lord, you did make me believe so” is such an underrated gut punch. it’s betrayal it’s heartbreak it’s vulnerability it’s so over. truly no one is doing it like shakespeare

Thank you for the tag @dujour13 I had to wander around and actively think about what to put here. Feel free to do this and tag me. I haven't seen who has or has not already done it 💕💕
glass cannon is objectively the sexiest build. you put down 10 enemies in one go and then need to be carried off the battle field the next round? so hot
Lau thank you so much for this ask. So sorry it took me so long to get to. A lot of things going on for me. But I really appreciate it 💕💕

❓ - Estranged family/relatives they've never met
I've talked about Lariel and Zrise's father a bit here and there. There are not a lot of reasons they'd be able to know who he is, or that they have other half siblings out in Brevoy. He himself has no idea these two exist and he has a wife and (adult) children. It would be quite the shake up for them all to find out about Lariel and Zrise. Something being explored with @dujour13 's Siavash.
The twins also each have their own kind of ideas about what he must be like. Lariel landing on the more positive. Seeing him as a way she could maybe understand and control her powers more. Hoping for a love and understanding she never got with her mother and grandfather. Though she would be worried about 'ruining' his life if this information is something he doesn't want to know.
Zrise is more negative, subconsciously believing his father has already rejected him. Having a lot of baggage about how his step-father treated him. He'd be afraid of meeting him and disguise it as anger. They were told very limited information about him.
Related. I fleshed out a bit more of their lore in terms that the family passes the twins off as 'relatives' of a dead member of their family. Namely, Zyreliel Aldonlel, in reality he's their uncle. And he never had children, but he died in the battle where Drezen was taken. (Around 4638)

⚙️ - Coworkers/boss (krewe/other charr outside of warband)
This one is harder to answer for Lariel as she's never really had a job. The closest I can think of is Paragon, her grandfather's Automaton. Which is often like a younger sibling, in that it's very unaware of the things going on around it, and mostly exists as a 'companion' for Lariel after her tutor's death. But other times is like a jailor. Watching and monitoring her.
As for Zrise, he's had many 'co-workers' often working with and for the churches of Calistria. Those who don't fall into this (and no other) category go on to be forgotten by him unfortunately, as is his way. Those who are more memorable to him that aren't going to be covered by other questions:
Asuriel: A frequent connection for him in Nerosyan. Calistria's worship is not as accepted in Mendev so they are a bit more like a guild. She is a well known poisoner and venom enthusiast. Along with battle medic and alchemist. Need some of Calistria's mercy? Bachelor snuff? She can get you some.
Deshaara: Wasp Queen who he has called upon for favors at times and vice versa. They often cross paths. Accidently 'worked' together during something some would consider a 'massacre'. They are both seen as vigilantes. Memorable for less 'fun' reasons and more that he does not like or trust her.
Mistress Philomela: Priestess in the House of Joy who advised him at times. Memorable for her huge pet honeybee.

🩹 - Someone who was a source of trauma
Yippie! Trauma! I joke but I will include some I don't talk about AS often. So the family trauma won't be here. I'm never sure how much to repeat myself on that front.
For Lariel:
I haven't talked about Kassius Tilernos enough on here. Her fiancé. They met when she was still a preteen and he was in his late teens. A runaway from his home in Westcrown looking for purpose. A disowned Chelaxian noble. An ambitious man who is always looking for a way to seize power and take it from the hands of the Thrune's and their loyalists.
Mostly he sees Lariel as a means to an end. But it wasn't always that way. Tilernos at least claims it was "love at first sight". Believing that she should instead entrust herself to his care. Doubt in her self has taken root in her heart, even as she attempts to escape him.
For Zrise:
Not going to talk here about family or Galt. As they are more common for me to lore dump about and do have a foundational effect on Zrise . So here I'll talk of Dmitry Medvyed. He represents a certain phase/common relationship dynamic Zrise became accustomed too. It is one part of the puzzle as too why he is so hesitant to open himself up or have a committed relationship.
I'm talking with more three dimensionality than Zrise himself would understand.
Upon returning to Mendev and taking up the life of a Sanctified Slayer, he no longer worked in a pleasure house, but he still practices Calistria's obedience. Using sex and sex appeal as a means of getting what he wants. Through manipulation or quid pro quo. In his mind relationships are a means to an end. BUT this does not mean he is emotionless and detached, it means he TRIES to be. AND it doesn't mean he's any good at keeping those boundaries.
So when he starts to develop a more romantic attachment to someone it does start to hurt his feelings when the nature of their relationship doesn't/can't change. This can escalate in a few ways, but it usually resolves in him taking some form of revenge, all while feelings a level of guilt because he was the one who WANTED their to be no feelings. He is not aware this is the cycle.
Guy is an emotional land mine.
Dmitry was a noble heir from Brevoy who was basically trading information for sex with Zrise. Only for their relationship to bleed into something more intimate without it really becoming romantic. Knowing way too much about each others lives and troubles. Leading to Dmitry trying to keep Zrise in Brevoy, afraid to lose him, but unable to have with a monogamous or romantic relationship with him, as a closeted gay man needing to marry the woman his parents arranged for him. Resentment, jealousy, and despair won out.
