Guidelines

THIS IS AN IMPORTANT NOTICE PLEASE READ!

Hi everyone! If you don't know me, I am The_Ravenclaw_Werewolf, or Raven for short, and I am currently writing the reaction fanfiction Main Character Syndrome (With Exceptions)!

You can find me at Ao3 or here on my Tumblr, but since it's been some time, I felt the need to set some ground rules.

Do not be rude, mean, or anything similar of the sort towards others or to me. I want everyone to have fun here so please treat others with respect!

Please no inappropriate and or offense behavior and or messages! I have been in fandoms long enough to see and know things for reasons outside my control .

ANY FORM OF CEST/PROSHIPPERS DNI. YOU WILL BE BLOCKED!

Those who refuse to follow the guidelines, as stated, will be blocked.

Now with that settled;

I understand that there are readers looking more towards the reaction part of the MCS (WE), or just the story in general, but please bear in mind that this is meant as a hobby, something to do for fun. Which means I may not be putting out chapters as fast as you would like, but I find that the joy of writing is taken away when I get pressured and or questioned about the next chapter. I don’t want to abandon this story so I can only ask that you please do not ask questions about updates and what not because then I feel myself pushing back my writing even further when asked every time.

Next is about my inbox, both on Ao3 and Tumblr. I understand you have questions and or are excited in general and I am really happy to answer and respond to them! But I either get TOO MANY questions or get questions that require me to sit down to write out, which leads me to getting overwhelmed by them, thus turning off both inboxes. And if I get too many questions, I feel the need to answer them FIRST before posting a chapter so this leads to a longer put off of both answering and writing. If you see that my inboxes are turned off, please be respectful and wait until I can turn them back on. I will still answer your questions, just only when I can and or when I am in the proper headspace.

I only ask this because I still want to have fun with this and I want my readers to still have fun as well. But I have a life outside of writing and I must ask to have my boundaries respected and if you can all do that, I would be the most appreciative.

How do you think Hinata will react to Shirogane's volley ball ''skills'' before Chika teaches him?

The reaction may not be what you are expecting, but....

Hinata would be in disbelief, along the lines of, "How are you not hitting it?! Your head is not the volleyball!"

And when someone points out that Shirogane's eyes are closed, Hinata just turns to them and goes, "Yeah, and?"

"You can't hit a volleyball mid air with your eyes closed and expect it to land!"

"Sounds like a skill issue to me."

One thing I'm really curious about is L, and his approach to most of the shows that the 40 are going to watch. Because like he's super deductive (more especially in games like Danganronpa), so would anything be a surprise to him? Or would that be apart of his character, where he has to stay silent or learn to be silent (because god knows he doesn't know social cues)?

Let's see...

At this point, L is unaware of the supernatural in his world. So technically, he doesn't really consider it as a possibility to any situations back home.

However, with the whole kidnapping and being surround by others that are, and not limited to:

Super-powered individuals

A bipedal, talking wolf

A ghost ("APPARITION!" "Sorry! Sorry! Yeesh!")

And personifications (i.e. country, cell), even though he is unaware of it too.

It would get him thinking even more on what is considered normal to him vs normal to the others.

So at the beginning point, anything supernatural or science fiction (to him) would be surprising. But not at the point where he'll scream at the top of his lungs and fall sideways in his chair. 😅

But like a first time anime viewer, he won't know how the other world operates, the laws of physics, the morals of the world, etc. So any possibilities he might come up with would be limited by his own world view and mechanics until he actually gets a feel for how the world works.

But I am going to say this now, because of filter which is basically the "No Spoilers Filter™" L wouldn't get far in trying to say any of his findings out loud. So yeah, he'll learn the hard way to stay quiet.

TL:DR: L would be surprised at the beginning, especially if he is wrong in his deductive reasoning, but would slowly acclimate to be ready for anything the viewings would show him later down the line.

I thought what if Komi Shouko was part of the 40. That would be either kinda funny and kinda depressing depending on how you want to play it. Like she is already about to explode from anxiety being in a 70 foot radius of another sentient being, now she has been kidnapped and put among 40 other people including a wolf and a ghost. Nobody would have any idea why tf she is staying silent for no apparent through all of this (some may even suspect her to be on the kidnapper's side if you REALLY wanna go mean). And then they decide to use braincells and give her a notepad to write on but y'know.

And of course when she learns Saiki is psychic and practically bursts with relief ''Omg, someone I can communicate with perfectly without opening my mouth. Where have you been my entire life?''(thought with stars in her eyes). I would want to know what Saiki's reaction would be to her now following him like a lost puppy since I only read a few chapters of Saiki K.

That’s kind of how I would honestly see it too. And yes, a cruel (but imaginative) part of me would have some of the characters insinuate that she might be working with the kidnapper, but of course the characters like Tohru would stand up for her.

BUT!

I was thinking through this and I honestly could see SAIKI of people actually stepping up to the plate and giving Komi a notepad to write on. Hey, he may be an introvert who wants to be left alone, but he’s not going to just stand by while someone is suffering a circumstance outside of their control.

And heck, even before Komi actually learns that Saiki can read her mind, since Saiki can, and thus is able to know and interpret her writing of what she really wants, Komi would cling to him like glue as she see him as the only person who really understands her.

As for Saiki’s reaction, at first he would be annoyed of having to deal with “another problem”, but he wouldn’t be so harsh to push her away. If anything, I could see them gradually building a friendship with each other, which I honestly find really sweet. 🥰🥰🥰

I had a funni thought like- imagine after the 40’s story they go back to they’re universes and such-

And now we have makoto,managed yo alter the timeline and such but right now he’s on a class trial because monkuma was beginning to be suspicious ..so he accuses makito of something but suddenly the class and mono kuma + Makoto hear

Hi, I was wondering if you consider Fujioka Haruhi to be gender fluid, and if that would brought up in The 40

I actually consider Haruhi as Gender Apathetic (Apagender), or at most Non-binary, but that is my own personal headcanon. Although at some point I do hope to bring it up later.

I can't imagine the pain Emma will feel when she learns both of her new friends are killers (directly or not) I feel she'd try to convince them to stop! Killua to my memory already isn't like the biggest fan of being an assassin so he'd probably be convinced, but Ciellll, my boy has one mission and it is *revenege*

If Sōma & Rin (and/or any of the characters who are Supreme Chefs) have a cooking competition & some (or all) of the other characters are the judges, which one would you pick?

Who would be lenient?

Who would be reasonable?

Who would be strict?

Mako, Tohru, Iruma, and Levi would be the most lenient. For those who are surprised by Levi, keep in mind, this man has never had a real meal in basically his whole life time, so for him to taste such quality food would be a god sent.

Many of them would be, (or try to be), reasonable but my main pick would be Kobayashi or Heine, since she did have her own cooking competition with Tohru (the dragon) and Heine, while a teacher, would know the strength and weaknesses of the two.

And if this competition was just between Rin and Soma, then Chika would try to be strict, but we know that while she can cook well, she’s not exactly on the same level as those two. Ciel would be too, since he is used to fancy food. But surprisingly, believe it or not, one of the stricter judges would be Italy.

Reason: He LOVES gourmet food, and if the food is not up to that quality, he will not hesitate to complain about it, as seen with the episode 8 of Hetalia: Axis Powers where the Allies feed him England's cooking and he immediately freaks out over it. I know he would be nicer with the kids, but I also know he would be more honest.

But to answer your overall question, I narrowed it down to three. And this is if I were to pick one from the adult, teen, and kid groups

Kobayashi OR Heine (really hard to pick) Saiki Nagisa

I tried to go for the ones who would be the most unbiased. Hope this helps!
