I really do not have words for anything else right now but the fact that Jon killed Jonah. Jon. He didn’t smite him. It wasn’t the Archivist or the Eye. It was Jon in all his grief and anger getting to beat the shit out of the guy who ruined all their lives and then kill him with his bare hands. Satisfying as hell. Our boy at least deserved that much.

From episode 1:

Jon: I’ve managed to secure the services of two researchers to assist me. Well, technically three, but I don’t count Martin as he’s unlikely to contribute anything but delays.

From episode 200:

(high pitched electrical whirring can be heard)

Jon: Okay.

Martin: What?

Jon: Do it! The knife’s just there. Let them go.

Martin:  [Tearful] I’m not going to kill you!

Jon: Cut the tether. Send them away. Maybe we both die. Probably. But maybe not. Maybe, maybe everything works out, and we end up somewhere else.

Martin: Together?

Jon:  One way or another. Together.

Martin: I don’t think I can…

Jon:  It has to be you. The Eye won’t let me do it.

Martin:  [Sobbing] Are you sure about this?

Jon: No. But I love you.

Martin: I love you too.

(there is the sound of a kiss, then Martin stabs Jon. Jon gasps and Martin lets out a sob. the static and whirring crescendos before cutting out)
