So us mods were talking about Grego’s robo eyes last night, and I got some headcanons for ya:

When he was like 8 he just decided to try and fix em up a bit for the first time. So one day Han strolls in to their cell to find Grego just sitting there, one eye out and completely dismantled on the table, and Han’s just like what the fuck

And then of course Grego totally fails and has to go around with an empty eyes socket for like three months before he visits his parents and gets a new one

(which he probably also breaks tbh)

When he was pretty little he realized that he literally did not have to blink. Like there was no reason at all. So he purposefully trained himself to never blink ever

(And man does that unblinking ultrapale guy with the old-timey accent look like a ghost)

And sometimes people are talking to him and they’re just like. Huh. He sure hasn’t blinked in a while. And they just get this very vague instinctual fear

He absolutely sleeps with his eyes open. And it is absolutely just because he thinks it’s cool.
