It's my 12 year anniversary on Tumblr 🥳
Well hey Tumblr, it’s been a while and I’ve been reminded how long this blog’s been up.
Thanks for following and maybe I’ll bring it back to life 🎉
Palace Hip, Seattle, April 13, 1921
Vaudeville was a popular form of live entertainment in the 1920s. The Palace Hip was one of Seattle’s most popular vaudeville theaters. It cost only ten cents to see seven live performances of singing, dancing, and comedy. The theater was located at the corner of Second and Spring Streets.

Had to hop on that adult swim trend 🌚
Some interesting things I’ve found in the Seattle area...
The first photos contain an old case that had personal belongings in it and ashes of a woman named Joy. The cops were called. They tried notifying a possible next of kin, and left her ashes there so they wouldn’t disturb her cremains. I wonder if she’s still there.
Second photos are from a Goodwill. I always open boxes and happen to find a prayer box with some threatening writing.
These next two pictures are from Discovery Park, and to me, that looks like a human molar. I’m not a dentist, so I figured it could be an animal’s and just snapped a photo.
This was taken recently in Woodland Park. Maybe a pet?
