Wow it’s been like years since I uploaded anything! I haven’t been able to continually afford art supplies, so I’m sorry for my absence! I decided to try something a little different this time, this is Acrylic on Glass, and it’s my first attempt at painting glass and my second attempt at using brushes instead of spray cans.

Fun fact - the painting is actually a little more 3D than you can see from these photos - I painted the sky on the back of the plate so there is a gap of space between the foreground trees and the background blue.

Got my first commission yesterday, photos will be up in the next couple days (permitting good weather to paint in, and permission from the commissioner to post them)!

I was really hoping it would not come to this but unfortunately my computers processor can no longer handle streaming, I’m in a catch 22 where I can no longer provide a product (broadcasting) to make reliable revenue which I need to fix the problem

On top of that my family is having financial issues, I cannot afford groceries or rent, I’m not sure if my brother will be able to find a way to pay for things without my help as he is currently not getting enough hours at work. If I cannot contribute it’s very likely we will lose the deposit and have to move out

Hey guys, some of you may have noticed that at the top of my page I talk about donating part of my commissions to charity. I've never really touched on that much before, but I wanted to try something new so here is the deal; when I come across calls for support on my dashboard from people or causes that I feel deserve it I will be opening up commissions on their behalf. What this means is that minus the cost of shipping and any materials I have to buy, I will offer incentives (in the form of art) for you to support this person by buying a commission from me (who I will then donate money to).

tl;dr if you commission me, I will give part of the proceeds to Leagueofvictory (and other charities both big and small in the future).

How long has it been since my last upload? Apologies, followers! I haven't been able to pick up any new canvas and half my colors are running low, but I promise I'm still alive! Here is a 'mountains in the fall' piece done primarily in red, green, and metallic gold since those are the colors I still have in abundance. Enjoy!

Something special for the weekend! I got tired of the boring grey diamond-plate texture my laptop came with, so I spray painted it! I was going to give everyone a step by step of the process, but I couldn't take pictures between painting layers since my hands were occupied. (At least I was able to capture the basic steps of taping it off and sanding it down.) After I took the tape back off I realized leaving the grey for the "frame" was still too light, so I painted the edges black too. A super fun project to do; I hope to get my hands on some more items to experiment with other than canvas.

Lightning over water. I know having a single cloud just hanging there is a little strange, but I didn't want to flood the top half of the painting with more black and I don't have any grey or gradient colors to fill the space effectively.

Hot air balloon over some mountains. I drew and cut the balloon stencil out by hand a couple minutes before I started painting. The material I used in the stencil ended up soaking up the colors from the sky around it and gave it this awesome soft glow effect. (The piece is also so dark it's basically reflecting like a mirror, though, so apologies for the view of my apartment, hah.)

I plan on doing another piece similar to this one in the future; I've had the idea in my head for a while and I wanted to see if I could pull off a basic version of it before refining my plan. In the future I'll probably make the foreground shorter, and/or use a shorter canvas. This was my first attempt at buildings, and I think they turned out decently considering!

Just some warm up planets, about 5 minutes spent per picture. After not painting for a week I wanted to start up slow and get used to my spray cans again. Didn't really have a plan for these, so they turned out kind of sloppy. It felt good getting back into the swing of things, though!

Hey guys, just a small update. Sorry I haven't been uploading much this week - I ran out of posterboard! Three new paintings will be up tomorrow, and hopefully some time later this week I will have a special something put together so look forward to that!

Sorry about the lack of updates this week; I've run out of posterboard! Here is the last piece I am able to put together until I go buy some more.

Based off of the wonderful Lake of the Woods piece by Joseph Visser Photography. Go check out the original - my lack of available colors and blurry camera don't convey how awesome his photography is. (Plus, he was nice enough to give me permission to do this in the first place!)

Obligatory mountain piece, because those are my favorite! Nothing super special about this one, I just wanted to do more than one painting today and threw this together in ~15 minutes.

Wanted to try out a new way of doing water, and I think it was super cool! Unfortunately, my camera quality and the lighting didn't capture it very well. I also think this scene would have been better off with palm trees, but I wanted to practice a different technique on those, too. Overall a cool painting considering it was a lot of experimenting and winging it.

A ship! I'm not a traditional artist, and I'm not good at drawing, but it was fun putting something non-nature based in one of my pieces.

A video was going around with a similar piece, so I decided to do a recreation for funsies. My white continues to spit/speckle, but I was very happy with how the trees turned out.

A simple mountain and planet piece to break in my new can of black. It's weird doing pieces after a hiatus but I'm very happy I can start painting again.

This one was actually a request, and was very fun! I over-estimated the size of my largest circle stencil, though; next time I'll probably use a slightly smaller canvas so there isn't so much empty space in the gold frame. Very happy with this piece otherwise.
