This is @misterbungee 's new account, I got annoyed with that one being a sideblog

I really like musicals, A New Brain is my favourite and I also love Assassins, Preludes, Falsettos, Company & Sweeney Todd. I'm also generally interested in any William Finn, Stephen Sondheim, or Dave Malloy (related) creations.

I'm an adult so I will not follow and probably not interact with you a lot if you are under 16

English is not my first language, ignore my grammar mistakes 🙏

I don't post on here a lot, I mainly like and repost posts and then post my own art every few months.

Gave up on act 2 revival Marvin look sorry . I just did Whatever. Also cause I think that the Marvin in the top panel in the 2025 version is already perfect I love the expression. So I couldn't top that. But ueehmm yeah I'm looking forward to doing this again next year 👍

i feel like not enough people talk about mimi schwinn, a mother having to mourn both her son and his father despite them also both living. she does NOT get a break, also, her calling out to gordon at the end of brain dead will never fail to make me cry.

like despite how much she has lost and how much she continues to lose in conjunction with gordons deterioration throughout the musical, her entire philosophy is about life continuing despite loss. she remains dignified through it all and she is just such a wonderfully full and living character i don't know how else to describe it

Foxtrot doodles from memory in the style I use whenever I'm artblocked. Which I also did when I first got into Falsettos so all my early Falsettos art is in this style aaaand I specifically drew Dutch Marvin a lot back then and Jules in Foxtrot has the same actor as Dutch Marvin !! Forever drawing Willem Spaaij like this I suppose.

Before I watched the show I thought Lisette was also gay and was disappointed to find out she isn't (not explicitly. To me she is) I also thought that maybe Josien was indeed going to have a queer realisation and that that's how she comes to understand Jules better but sadly 💔

I don't even remember if lesbianism was mentioned I don't thinkkk it was? It talked about how some men are gay and how many women have tried to convert men to be straight n stuff but nothing about the converse. And in Sorry Dat Ik Besta they cooouuuld have just added smt along the lines of "zij en zij"/"vrouw en vrouw" 🤷 I need to see more lesbians on stage immediately
