Bakugou became deaf after he made one GIANT 💥. (Explosion).
He had always been hard in hearing, but wow, this was unexpected!
The doctors had told him that he still had about 5 years until he would go deaf.
He already knew some sign language, but not enough to even make a simple conversation.
Present mic taught him most his sign language.
His parent are deaf, that’s why he knew ASL.
After Bakugou knew ASL good enough, he taught his classmates.
One of the first thing they learned where curse words.
Kirishima and Midoriya had already practiced ASL.
Don’t tell anyone, but Bakugou cried the first time Midoriya signed ‘Kacchan’ to him.
The first thing Kirishima signed to Bakugou was: “me... learning... sign words... you...”
Bakugou imidiatly (not sure if I spelled that right) began putting up a conversation.
Kirishima just stood there...
Some little kids will come up to him asking him about why he is talking with his hands.
Bakugou then has to ask Kirishima to translate the conversation between them.
Bakugou thinks it’s really fun because he gets to make up the whole story.
He will usually say that a wich took his hearing.
Or something in that direction.
After he graduated from U.A., he became the first deaf pro hero.
He was like a roll model for deaf/HOH kids.
And if anyone would say a bad thing about his deafness, Midoriya and Kirishima would take them.
One time they where eating out somewhere, when Kirishima heard someone say that a deaf person can’t be a hero.
He got to that person and said: “Only a villain would say something like that!”.
Everyone started clapping for him standing up for his friend like that.
