been watching hard mode playthroughs of the mario and luigi games and im now realizing that with my current sonic special interest, that makes two series where i get incredibly hyperfixated on a short green tyrant who becomes a pretty major antagonist at one point and has a slightly hilarious and edgy powered up form he gets from a 'dark' version of the main power-up macguffin.

It’s got everything- bizarre translation, questionable voice direction, and the replacement of all Japanese food. Also new English songs. anyways, my reasonable wishlist of mario kart characters:

Prince Florian. self explanitory.

Robo-Mario. i know he was only in that one arcade Mario Kart but he's so cutes so funs

Boo. yeah i know ""King"" Boo is playable, but 1) fuck that guy he's an imposter and 2) did you know normal Boos have never been playable in Mario Kart?????? they've put a Peepa in MKWo over a standard Boo. what the fuck.

Professor E. Gadd. canonically has made karts for Mario Kart, along with the aforementioned Robo-Mario, so i think he deserves to be invited proper, even if he's a bit of a dick.

Polterpup. Poochy (my brother's #1 pick for a MKWo wishlist) is in Tour, and I think more dogs should drive. it's funny.

Gooigi. another "I just think it'd be funny" option, but also like. if we have to deal with """characters""" like Metal Mario on the reg, i think Gooigi would make that more palatable.

Baby Bowser. another "if we have to put up with this anyways" character. like, Baby Rosalina isn't even from anything and directly contradict's rosalina's actual lore, c'mon. give us one of THE babies.

Chain Chomp. if it can play tennis, it can drive.

Elder Princess Shroob: A female heavy weight driver character and also kicks butt.

Cozette: We need her as another heavy weight female driver

Zokket: I want him to be groaning in agony at the idea of engaging in racing with everyone else, like he really doesn’t want to race but he got shoved in a slot.

Princess Shroob: Another Princess character to compete with Peach and Daisy; she’s got a lot of sass.

Fawful: He is tiny and was influential for the Mario & Luigi games

Cackletta: Another good example of a female heavy weight driver; also pioneer in being the first villain in Mario & Luigi

the fact the NPC who said cackletta and queen bean are sisters got removed from the finished game is absolutely insane to me. it's diabolical. because they left everything else in. the beanbean castle music being cackletta's theme, queen bean having the same laugh as her, cackletta knowing lady lima well enough to impersonate her exactly and knowing the layout of the castle and the security system, and the fact queen bean, peasley and lady lima never insult cackletta directly but are more than happy to insult fawful. it makes me so mad we could've really had it all but now i just sound insane whenever i bring it up
