so as long as tumblr keeps this, here's the tumblr version of etiquette that was maintained when twitter's quote-retweets affected artist visibility/notes:

for art that someone has added reblog commentary to (or removed the caption from), reblog from the source

otherwise, avoid adding reblog comments to art (as this will affect the artist's notes/visibility)—utilize tags and replies to provide commentary (which artists will absolutely appreciate)

reblog comments are comments added to the body of a post, not the tags and not replies.

ok i had only turned off notifs for 8 hours so i could get some things done but with how much this has blown up i'm just gonna turn them off permanently otherwise my phone will overheat

lots of people have pointed out that this is a MAJOR issue because of image description additions, which historically do happen in reblog comments, especially since not everyone has the wherewithal/spoons/knowledge to create them. i agree. that is a HUGE issue. i have added it to my feedback comment.

to provide feedback please reply to the reblog addition by @changes on the announcement post, found here. a previous employee of tumblr has stated that sending it to support or providing app store reviews is less likely to be effective as a result of who receives those, so please keep that in mind. also keep in mind that your feedback should be clear about how this is negatively impacting your desire/willingness to engage on the site, especially with regards to reblog comments, and any negative impact this has on your willingness to be on the site. they need to know why its badness affects them, not just that you don't like it.

Über 2 Hauptpunkte im Film komm ich aber niiiicht hinweg: (under cut)

1. I KNEW IT I KNEWWWWWW THEY WERE TOO PUSSY TO COMMIT TO THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT SLANDER FUCK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Das war einer meiner Hauptsorgen für den Film und dann machen sies auch noch mit fucking Japanern stattdessen come onnnnnnn pussies. pussieeeeessssssssssssssss

2. Mehr eine narrative Entscheidung, die ich nicht verstehe: im Buch/Hörspiel wird uns Justus&Bobs POV verschwiegen, bis sie Peter auf der Insel wieder treffen. Aber im Film wissen wir einfach von Anfang an Bescheid? Es entzieht so viel Spannung aus dem ganzen Segment... :( schade!

JELENA YES ICH LIEBE SIE SO SEHR ich find so toll wie cool sie in diesem Film sein dürfte richtig gut gecastet auch finde ich sie war super

Und Skinny wieder total super, der Schauspieler ist auch wieder riiiichtig gut. Er war wirklich ein bisschen pathetic in diesem Film. Auch cool, aber nie so cool das er halt wieder uncool wird, eine schöne Balance. Habe die Szene wo sie ihn auf der Veranda konfrontieren besonders toll gefunden

Ich hatte auf jeden Fall sehr viel Spaß mit dem Film, es sah alles so wunderschön aus, und Kalifornien sah wirklich genau so schön aus wie man sich die Landschaft in den USA vorstellt. Und die Filmmusik war so geil hallooo

Ich bin so unfassbar mad das die die Storyline mit den Amis geändert haben. Keine CIA die sie umbringen will, keinen illegalen Atomwaffenversuche, nicht mal Imperialismuskritik. Stattdessen waren es die ~bösen Japaner~ Hadden ist doch nicht der amerikanische-Traum Millionär weil er nicht weiß ist äh ich meine natürlich weil sein Großvater Japaner war und er seinen Schatz finden will. Ist das überspitzt und zynisch von mir? Ja. Gibt es irgendeinen storytelling Grund um die Geschichte so umzuschreiben? 😐

Und Olin ist auch einer von den Guten! Also, er ist immernoch ein Doppelagent des amerikanischen Militärstaates aber der Militärtstaat ist halt. Gut

Es ist ja nicht so als würde ich in den ddf nicht ständig wohlwollend die Copaganda ignorieren, das ist halt Leider Gottes Teil des settings und ich finde die Geschichten inklusive setting toll. Aber muss man die sowieso schon sehr romantische Sicht in den Büchern wirklich nachträglich noch weiter romantisieren? Gerade vor dem Hintergrund der USA der letzten paar Jahre? Warum?
