Hey~! Welcome to the fourth annual Toshinko Week, a BNHA fandom event celebrating the potential relationship between Toshinori Yagi (All Might) and Inko Midoriya (Izuku’s Mother)!

When is it this year?!

The event this year begins on September 1-7, 2021 (give or take for varying timezones), but you are welcome to post after the week is over! We’ll be keeping an eye on the tags for the whole month of September, so no need to stress if you do not post everything you want to within that first week. We wanted to give everyone at least a month to prepare for the event.

What are the Prompts?!

Below are the suggested prompts selected to help inspire your creativity, but you do not need to strictly follow the prompts, or use them at all. If you do decide to use the prompts, we kindly request that you wait until the specific day to post that piece. You’re also free to combine and mix-and-match prompts too!

There are two prompts to chose from if you wish for most of the days, and one is a free day for everyone to do whatever you’d like. The idea with the prompts this year was to do a short prompt and a longer prompt to add some variety.

What content is allowed?!

Nearly anything! Any type of fan-content that is dedicated to Toshinko is allowed: fanart, fanfiction, gifs, manga edits, amvs, collaborated work, audio posts, headcanons, memes. We just ask that you focus the work on Toshinko, and do not use others’ fanwork without permission​. Mature content is allowed if it is tagged for and posted under a Read More. Also, for example, if you decide to just post a fanfic on AO3 or a video to youtube, you can simply make a link post, and if it is tagged we will reblog it.

I need to know this important question because I don’t know enough to fully understand endeavor because of it:

what is endeavor’s vendetta against All Might? What made him feel like he—or his kids—had to do better than him? maybe I missed why or it’s just never gone addressed.. why was he obsessively trying to be better than him to the point of neglect and abuse to his family? There’s no valid reason for him to do what he did but why was he trying that hard to beat All Might..?

So I’m writing a great muppet caper AU fic and Toshinori and Toyomitsu (fatgum) are twin brothers. It’s for AU purposes and comedic affect.

Here’s an excerpt from my fic so far:

“Now, I ask you, which paper would you buy? This one?” He shakes the chronicle, “or this one?” He then shakes the Times newspaper.

“I read the one that has Dear Abby.”

Hound dogs howls in frustration before Toshinori steps in to explain.

“Gee mr. Ryo, we thought identical twins working here would make an interesting story.” He says.

“Well, it doesn’t. Especially since you two look nothing alike.” He spits. His eyes wander from Toyomitsu to Toshinori, trying to find some kind of resemblance.

“Oh well that’s because Toyomitsu’s not wearing his hat. See? Put your hat on, Toyo.”

“Oh, right.” Toyomitsu gets his hat from inside his work bag and places it on his head before wrapping an arm around his brother’s shoulder. “See? Now don’t we look alike?”

Hound dog stares at them, squinting before nodding his head. “Oh yeah, I see it now. But that’s still not a good excuse for blowing this story.”

You know I get that not everyone is going to like All Might and that's fine, you're entitled to your own opinion. But why is it every time I go into the tags someone always has to regurgitate the argument of him being a bad teacher?

I swear I see this argument so much like it's the ultimate hot take. He's suppose to be a bad teacher in the beginning that's a flaw of his character he must overcome. He doesn't have any strategys or lessons to pass on to the students at first because he was an extremely powerful and popular hero. He was a one and done kind of guy, just a few punches and boom the villain is defeated so of course it wouldn't resonate with the students

But like any other character in media he grows and improves. That's why it's called character development
