(All things are quiet in castle town. Suspiciously quiet that is, disturbingly so. Susie has been yet to be greeted by her befriended prince of the darkness. He's always here when she happens to drop on by, where is he now?)

(She could wander these streets for ages and not find a single soul. Where is everyone? What happened while she was gone? She moseys down further, eventually finding herself inside the all familiar castle... The King is still here, and so are the rest of the prisoners, but it's quiet, that eerie silence feels suffocating. It rings in Susie's ears, it loops in her mind, it feels as if something horrible happened here. Nothing could've happened, but what if something did?)

(A loud yelp is heard from down the way. It's piercing scream and pitched voice could only be one: Ralsei. She wastes no time, sprinting to the origin of the sound, eventually finding her way to Ralsei's poorly decorated room, bursting in the door to see...)

(A tea party?)

* ,, ♡ ︰“ Ah! Susie! ” ୨୧

(Ralsei's voice wavers. He's rightfully startled by the girl's sudden presence and unnerved expression. He clears his throat.)

* ,, ♡ ︰“ My apologies, I hadn't realized you were here! ” ୨୧

(He stays strangely still, as if moving would hurt him. He doesn't bring attention to his shriek.)

* "Ralsei? Is everything alright? I heard you scream and- Y'know, rushed to see if you were here."

(At the mention of his scream, he puts a hand over his mouth and embarrassed blush creeps across his face. His gaze flickers away before returning back to his panicked friend. He looks awfully bashful.)

* ,, ♡ ︰“ I'm sorry, I didn't meant l scream so loudly— haha... ” ୨୧

(His voice is quieter than it was a moment ago. His gaze averting again as he clasps his hands behind his back. He is awfully still.)

* "Obviously somethings wrong, given the general vacant state of castle town plus that, so there's really no need in hiding it. What's going on?- er- if you know, of course."

* She's trying her best to considerate, truly she is, but sometimes it comes out a little more demanding than intended.

(He giggled into his hand. It's a miracle that there's a concept of time in this place. His smile beams in the darkly lit room. He finally goes to take a step and—)

(He mumbles under his breath.)

* "Oh, right, forgot it's the middle of the night-"

* The tense air left her for a moment, but, quiet as it was, Susie noticed the small sign of pain, making her concerned yet again.

* ! * "Hey, you alright?"

* It's a bit crazy to think this is the same Susie who opposed ever having friends just a few days ago when they'd first met.

(Ralsei quickly waved his hands, trying to reassure Susie.)

* ,, ♡ ︰“ I'm alright! I just... Um... Dropped a tea cup on my foot. ” ୨୧

(He averts his scared gaze slightly before coming back to Susie with a much more lighthearted look.)

* ,, ♡ ︰“ I— I was going to clean it up! I just got distracted. ” ୨୧

* Susie nods. That seems like a normal and plausible answer, Ralsei doesn't seem to be hiding anything.

* "Here, I can help!"

* She's been getting better at using that healing spell. Focus, Susie. It's a little hard to pull off, but you just have to have the willpower to conjure it up. You just need to be determined enough. With a lot of concentration and a flick of the wrist, a green spark makes its way to Ralsei. The spell isn't as small and weak as it once was when he first taught her, but it's not quite a full heal prayer yet.

(Ralsei's eyes blinked rapidly as the rejuvenated feeling washed over him. He taps his foot on the floor, it still tingles but doesn't hurt necessarily. His eyes glimmer as he looks back at Susie.)

* ,, ♡ ︰“ You've improved! I'm so proud! ” ୨୧

(He claps his hands together delightfully before clasping them together and letting them rest in front of him.)

* "Thanks, I've been practicing!"

* With that, Susie kneels down to help clean up the remains of the dropped teacup.

* "You got a dust pan or something we could use to scoop this up? Wouldn't want us accidentally cutting our hands while trying to clean up or something-"

(Ralsei looks... Surprised at Susie's help. He waves his hands again, more frantically this time.)

(He points to the large selection of sweets and other delicacies littered across the table. It looks like the same one that was in Her's and Kris' room that one time. It seems he pulled it into his room instead... He picks up the shards on the floor, scooping them into his furry hands. Seems he doesn't have a dust pan.)

* "Alright, well, I'm not very hungry, so I'm gonna tag along as you clean. Gosh, it's so quiet here at night-"
