Korrasami for Valentineâs Day đâ€ïž
I seem to enjoy drawing this composition... finally princess could resting by her sideđż
And Happy Valentine's Day!
Lake In The Clouds   Chapter 6: The Devil You Know
Impa steps onto the rock Zelda leans against, and sits atop of it, her leg dangling and slightly submerged in the water. âThis sounds bad, but I didnât know you were a swimmer.â
Looking up at her, Zelda endures an overwhelming amount of affection she hasnât felt in some time. The sunlight brings out the colour of Impaâs eyes, and theyâre incredible, like rubies; her hair strikingly silver against her dark complexion. It is actually hard for Zelda to tear her eyes away, and she feels so pathetic realising this crush hasnât faded at all.
In so many ways the princess is inferior, in comparison, as far as looks are concerned. Not that Zelda minds. Impa is always a gorgeous image, and perhaps itâs no surprise Zelda has come to develop such a need for her. When was the last time she actually kissed Impa, properly? When was the last time Impa felt her body, and went down on her? Oh, God, just remembering her tongue between Zeldaâs thighs makes the princess squirm a little.
Maybe this is what happens when they are finally given time alone, without any immediate threat.
âYou should join me,â Zelda whispers. âItâs nice in here.â
Impa scrunches up her nose. âI canât really be bothered with the effort.â
âEffort with what? Taking off your clothes?â Zelda grins. âI never thought youâd hesitate when given the opportunity.â
Tagged by @aviatordame and finally found some time to do it. :)

I cheated and did both on Mutual pining/domestic bliss because honestly it depends on if Iâm reading or writing. When reading it tends to be mutual pining, but when Iâm writing I tend toward domestic bliss despite myself.Â
I wonât tag anyone, but do it if you want! Pretty fun to think about. :)Â

As a failing third year student, perhaps Impa isnât the best mentor for the aspiring Princess Zelda.
Or, maybe sheâs the perfect match.

Lake In The Clouds    Chapter 5: When Legends Lie
âWhat did you see, Lady Impa?â
Even the memory itself makes her feel sick. She needs a moment to try and figure out what she imagined, and what actually occurred. Whether it was just a dream, or that beast she witnessed, glowing, like the sun, its eyes red and able to drain the life out of everything nearby. How it felt, to have the oxygen ripped from her lungs, to lose her vision, and for her head to hurt so terribly, she was certain it would burst.
To suffocate slowly, unable to fight itâ
âImpa?â
âI donât know,â Impa says stupidly. She groans, rubbing her eye with the heel of her palm. âI couldnât really see at the time. I couldnât see at all.â She meets Miphaâs gaze. âWhy are you asking me, when you obviously know? I imagine these legends wrote in great detail about what happened to the princess.â
âClearly, Princess Zelda was unaware of her actions, otherwise she wouldnât have harmed you.â
âI never said she did.â
âOh, Impa, look at you.â
âWhat do I look like?â
âBetrayed.â

everytime I remember that lesbian couple that have a marble statue of the two of them embracing and sleeping on a bed together over where their graves will be because the artists didnât believe they would be able to be married before they died, so what they couldnât have in life they could have in death, I fucking breakdown
memorial to a marriage; patricia cronin
âon july 24th, 2011- the first day that same sex marriage was legal in new york state, particia cronin and deborah kass got married. that same year the marble âmemorial to a marriageâ was replaced with a bronze version. rainwater pools in the space between their two sculpted bodies, and falling leaves catch on the metal in the autumn. the two women sleep peacefully through snow and ice, and the scorching days of summer. over time the hands of cemetery visitors will wear down the bronze, burnishing it into a smooth shine. one day this will mark the final resting place of the two women. and someday people will have to remember that there was a time, long ago, when this was a memorial to a marriage that two women never thought theyâd have.âÂ

This is, without a doubt, one of the best reviews Iâve received in my life. Thank you, @the-wolfess. I got chills up my spine reading your review. Nobody has actually gone into such psychological detail with the characters I write, and Iâm in awe at your brilliant analysis. Youâre so on point with Impa and Zeldaâs mentality. They both had extremely different childhoods which will have a major impact on how they view the world as women. Iâm chuffed youâre seeing both sides to this dynamic. Zelda is incredibly frustrating, but her jealousy has ground. Everybody she has ever loved has died or left her. Plus, she doesnât have a great deal of self esteem, hence her fear that Impa will leave her for somebody, well, more suited for her as we see in this chapter. I think also a lack of relationship experience and Zeldaâs youth play a part in this. Zelda is only eighteen at the end of the day whereas Impa is around twenty-two. Thatâs a huge gap mentally for that age and we see that when the two are in discussion/arguing. Zelda tends to adopt the more passive aggressive approach which mainly comes down to inexperience and insecurity.
Impa doesnât help herself either, and itâs great youâve noticed that. Zelda is extremely frustrating, but Impaâs choice to withdraw altogether and almost avoid the situation only causes more damage. Her âIâm not worthy of this/it wonât last so whatâs the point anywayâ mentality is very true and that does come from poverty/growing up on the streets. I, too, like you, struggled with poverty in my early twenties - I was homeless for a couple of months and that experience stays with you forever. It is not only difficult to recover from, but you struggle to trust whatever fortune is put before you. Independence can be a fantastic thing but also a burden. In my story, I imply Impa has been with... well, a lot of people. Thereâs nothing wrong with that intiially, but sometimes when people do âsleep aroundâ it can be a form of escapism amongst many other things. Thereâs always a reason why people do impulsive things such as this. These two women have had such different childhoods, if they even had one. But what they have in common is that their lives have been very hard. How they cope with that will have a major impact on themselves and each other. Itâs a question of whether theyâre brave enough to accept that what they have IS good, and they ARE worthy of it. And, to trust it too.
Whilst these two are good people at heart, they have a lot of crap to deal with before they are in a genuinely concrete place in their relationship. Which is certainly not uncommon. So long as theyâre honest with one another and communicate how theyâre feeling, it can work. Unfortunately Impa especially is struggling with that, much to Zeldaâs irritation and heartbreak. But Impa has never really been good with emotion. Although she does mentally support Zelda in the game, she deflects a lot and her way of dealing with a tricky situation is to change the subject. There comes a point where that just isnât good enough. She doesnât need to change, necessarily, but adapt. Which can be hard for somebody who has survived and lived in a specific (and almost static) way.
Iâm so glad you enjoyed my analysis, and reading your response was wonderful.Â
Iâve been contemplating lead characters and what makes someone a character instead of an archetype. My wife and I watched this great movie (as far as independently-made lesbian movies free on amazon prime go), and as much as I enjoyed it for so many reasons, I found myself thinking about the two main characters in the story. One was a fully rounded character with a backstory, an internal psychological/emotional life that we understood and could see her grappling with, and clear motivations behind her actions as a result of that internal life.Â
The love interest, I realized, was not a character at all--she was just an archetype. We knew a little of her backstory, a very little, but we didnât know what her internal psychological/emotional world was like or why she made the decisions that she did. She says that she loves the first girl and we see her pursue her relentlessly, but never once are we given a hint of why or whatâs going on inside of her. Sheâs not actually a character--sheâs just an idea.Â
This got me thinking about some of my favorite fics, like this one. How these stories told in fanfiction are often stronger in character development and plot than many of the professionally made movies. Partially thatâs the medium, for sure, but itâs also that writers of a good fan fiction take the time to explore the internal world of both of their characters. Both of them have their particular motivations and psychology explored, and the reader is allowed to see and understand them. Not that there is never a good fic that leans more toward writing archetypal characters rather than realistic ones, but my favorite fics do.Â
Anyway, thinking about that is what led me to thinking about the internal worlds of your main characters in Wretched. They are both fully fleshes out, realistic characters with complex internal worlds and motivations, and thatâs one of the things that I like best about this story.Â
This is my favorite I think
Can confirm this is the best.Â
