Ah...s'cuse me...
1. In the Shower
She usually sings in the shower, I mean, who doesn’t? Lucy needed to freshen up, but when she heard the recognisable American drawl she swore loudly and stuck her head out from around the shower curtain. “Jackson! Get out of my bathroom!”
"Well you didn’t knock" she said with a smirk as she took the towel from him and went about wrapping herself up in it as she clambered out of the bath.
"That may be, but I’d rather you didn’t" she said, her voice quieter than it was before as she grabbed her bathrobe from the back of the door. "Alright, I’m covered, we can talk"
He shook his head, placing a hand on his hip as he waited.
“Finally,” He feigned a sigh of irritation. The surgeon did notice the change in her tone, though wasn’t sure if it was down to the slight awkwardness of the situation.
Turning slowly to face her, he offered an apologetic smile. “Sorry ‘bout that, ‘Luce.”
Bundled up in the her towel and bathrobe she brushed back her wet, hair, as it fell in natural curls, and mock punched him. “Five minutes more wouldn’t have mattered” Her change in tone meant she had obviously got over his interruption. "S’alright. You didn’t know, the kids don’t have any sense of time, they’ve only just started learning how to tell it at school" she said, ringing out her hair over the sink. "Do you want to talk somewhere else?"
Jackson chuckled, feigning hurt at the strike. "Ah, well, that's kids for'ya." He replied with a quiet laugh, "Smart kids y'got though. Your boy...William, s'it? Catches on quick. Already given him a lowdown on Paraffin an' it's uses."
The surgeon gave a small nod of his head, the hand on his hip dropping down to his side. "Well, y'know doll, there kinda was a reason I came n'here. I don't make a habit o'intrudin' on folks in this manner for no reason. Contrary t'popular belief."

He really did try to refrain from chuckling.
This just had to happen to him, didn’t it?
"Sorry, doll." He replied with a tone of quelled amusement, lifting a hand to his eyes, "Kids told me y’were out o’the shower."
"An’ why don’t y’get a lock for the damn door…" The surgeon added with a roll of his eyes.
"They did? I’ve literally just got in" she said, with an exasperated sigh. "Why didn’t you knock?" she asked back when he rolled his eyes at her. "Rather than just barging in." Clearly being interrupted during her shower time had soured her mood. Why was it always Jackson? "Could you pass me a towel please, and turn away, this isn’t for your eyes" she said, with a lighter tone as the shower stopped. She might as well get out now. There was no point continuing.
"I didn’t barge in…” He mumbled, turning around and reaching for the towel, it’s soft material warming in his grasp immediately. Jackson kept his arm raised, stretching his arm out and handing the cloth to Lucy.
"Ah, don’t worry sweetheart. Not like y’ve anythin’ I ain’t seen before." He remained looking away, and gave a cheeky grin.
