I N S A N I T Y - i like to think Faeryn tries to deal with the Urge on her own, especially early on, both to try and protect her friends but also so they don’t have to see her that way. but inevitably Astarion finds her and helps coax her back into herself 🥺♥️

T H E C H O S E N🩸 in the AU where Faeryn becomes Bhaal’s Chosen, maybe she regrets the choice she felt she had to make. maybe she still hears Astarion’s final words to her rattling around in her tainted skull and feels remorse for everything she lost.

even in fully becoming what her Father always wanted, i think Faeryn would still be regretful, riddled with guilt, have periods of despair so intense that she’d try to tear her own heart out in order to not feel it. she would be haunted and tortured by the idea of what could have been if only she’d denied Bhaal and died instead.
